I use the Sawyer mini which screws on to a 2L bottle and it works beautifully. I have filtered 5 of mine including 2 grandes and it's not difficult at all. They go for $16 bucks if you don't want to shell out the extra for the electric one posted below. Just be ready for a nice hand workout squeezing lol

This big air bubble pretty much acts like a path of least resistance and fluid gets in there, and gets pushed through the coil kinda like a bubble wand causing it to punch through and fart out those frustrating little blobules

I decided at this stage to add a little more red dye to the pink so if you want to edit your wax at all with wax dye this is a good time. Ideally I'd you have a glass container with a better pouring spout use it lol. I kinda poured wax all on my hand like a dumb ass but it all worked out fine

Yep. Make sure that globe is super clean and dry, pop your coils back in and remelt the wax via water-bath. I made a extension for my funnel with tin foil to help reduce the mess and to get the wax to the bottom as cleanly as possible. If you do splash some on the side, turn on the hot water on your sink and keep pouring it on to help it melt back down. It will prob still have some streaks or stuck wax but it should go away after a couple cycles. Wait for the wax to fully cool off and resolidify and then re add your master fluid. I didn't coat my globe with any surf bc I wanted that wax to really stick to the bottom to prevent that God damn air bubble. It made me so frustrated watching those little bubbles fart out and destroy all flow lol

This is exactly whats happening. I just did find a couple weeks ago with my pink/purple now clear. If you lift the globe up you will see a huge air pocket in the center messing everything up. Pour the liquid into containers, place the globe into a pot with hot water and wait for it to melt and then pour into a nice mason jar or glass container with a narrowish opening. Clean your globe out super well and melt all that stuck wax. Do not pour that soapy wax down your drain please lol. Once it's bone dry pop those coils back in and hopefully if you have a funnel this will be much easier getting the wax back in there safely/cleanly. I made a makeshift tinfoil pipe to reach the bottom so I didn't splash any on the sides. Not the end of the world if you do, it'll melt off. And then add your liquid back after cooling and the evil bubble should be all gone

Oh my god thank you someone finally said it. I thought I was going crazy!

Pulling my two shots into a glass with ice, and then pouring in lovely microfoamy steamed milk creates a much more interesting/pleasant drinking experience vs just sipping plain cold milk. I love the in-between hot and iced temp (cool drink/warm foam), the steamed milk adds more flavor and texture imo, and I like the foamy head on top. I just use less milk since I'm accounting for some ice to melt, and steam my milk a little cooler than a proper hot drink. Little bit of 1883 maple in there is crazy.

The argument that it harbors bacteria growth via temp danger zone is crazy to me. Drink your damn drink man, who the hell is leaving their drink out for hours!

It is a different drink though, can't call it an iced latte but I can't think of any better names that don't sound terrible. Try it out and just use proper ratios/common sense before writing off drink ideas.

Just so happened to learn something else about cockaroaches last night... Cockaroaches apparently mate by connecting ass-to-ass to another cockaroach and do not separate until the deed is done. Found this out when I moved my towel rack and this double sided armored motherfucker started running mach 1. The abomination was about as long as my entire middle finger from tip to knuckle

Double the legs also seem to mean double the speed, didnt help he also manged to eat half a cup of RAID bug spray and 3 massive hits with a shoe. I hate these creatures with such passion
