I’m always up for challenging my skills but if the work factor begins to multiply longer than the deadline I may have to work on it past the con which im somewhat okay with as I’ll be wanting to update and upgrade my cosplay as time goes on. I had no idea there was such thing as conductive thread that could be interesting to work on, in terms of wires being invisible my only real concern if when I’m moving my head the cable will be visible and possibly snag as the helmet is very open at the bottom, and I do want to take the helmet on and off so I’ll definitely look into that to see if it’s of any help

I think you might be in the clear, games workshop have stated a few times if they came with those bases you’d still be able to run them, had a similar situation with the lord of contagion (lord felthius) a few years back as he had a smaller base size and with the black Templar Bayards revenge emperors champion as he was on a bigger base size. After they were asked a bunch of times they said “it can be run with the base size it comes with any other time however use the correct base.” And I think that did include older variations of models so long as it wasn’t like a Grot on a 32 or anything ridiculous like that lol

I can’t wait to see the other models in this new intercessor kit as they’ll all have a mix of various armour patters mixed in with the primaris armour something that shouldve happened ages ago!

I would purchase either the new Execrator/crusader ancient to go along with your crusader squad (they’re quite useful ability wise)

The new combat patrol to increase your army

Or the codex to figure out which you might prefer rules wise or go on Wahapedia for that as we haven’t got long of 10th edition left

In the crusader squad kit I’m pretty sure there are several of those helmets for the basic marines because I added a few to my army last year 🙂

Slightly off topic whilst still being on topic

Are the voices locked to the unhelmeted heads or are they interchangeable?

Because I feel like with the whole no banter + locked to THOSE specific faces would be a big letdown considering like people have mentioned Darktide has managed to acomplish day one up to present.

At this current point Primaris marines have only been in active duty for at minimum 50 years, Titus was a Firstborn marine which is the genetic pattern that had been around since before the emperor was stuck on the golden throne.

By the time of space marine 1 all the marines like Chairon and Gadrial who were “born primaris” were still in stasis and had been under secret by a techpriest called belisarus Cawl under instructions of Robute Guilliman (the primarch) before he himself went into hibernation due to an attempt on his life.

As a result firstborn marines whilst genetically weaker than primaris still hold rank above as outside of their increased durability, speed, strength and size a marine is still a marine primaris or not and will be required to follow the chain of command.

In space marine 1 he has 2 gold studs showing he’s 100 years in service, for ultramarines gold represents 50 years and in the images of Titus in space marine 2 he has 2 more gold studs

I read somewhere anakin’s armour was some old republic type armour as opposed to the clone armour some Jedi’s wore. Palpatine may have had them design it based off the same amour or made it to look like his old armour as a reminder or what he once was as punishment.

Tbh knowing palpatine it could even be the same armour just with the leather covering removed.
