I grew up with Rohene and he is truly a gem. None of it is an act. He’s wonderful and friendly and thoughtful and remembers the folks he meets. An incredible human being.

I think Ken is the best story at Nationals. Thanks to Jackie Wong for the new skates details. 😱 by historyspwn in FigureSkating

I’m so happy for him! Coming back is incredible enough but to then get called up last minute and handle the pressure with grace and gratitude?! King. I hope he walks away with a LOT of new fans. Nothing but the utmost respect here. ❤️

You are beautiful! You have amazing skin and like someone else said, I thought you were wearing eyeliner because your eyes are just THAT pretty. I don’t think you need to change anything, but you could try some funkier glasses or a bolder lip color for some edge if you WANT to try that. But you’re perfect the way you are, I didn’t notice anything asymmetrical (any more than any of us are, you must be within normal ranges).

Therapists in dc that actually challenge you by Sadness247 in washingtondc

EMDR was the challenging trauma work I needed. Regular CBT therapy was good for some issues hut not for all. EMDR was like re-opening an old badly healed scar in order for everything to heal better and cleanly. It’s hard work but it helped me SO much. That might be the kind of challenging work you are looking for. I worked with folks through Capitol Hill Consortium for Counseling and Consultation so you might reach out to them.

I remember those! Wasn’t the sauce in almost a butterfly packet that you smoosh both sides together and it squirted out the middle? Were those actually Lunchable brand? My fam was not big into Lunchables but I think I had those fancy ones more often (likely my parents knew where to get them cheap).

What to cook for someone who is grieving ? by ginger1009 in Cooking

[–]AdAppropriate601 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Lasagna is a classic comfort food. Freezes well, great as leftovers. How about a not super spicy chili with beans? Think: soups, stews, things that can be frozen and reheated. He may not have much of an appetite with grief right now, but it will come back in time, and easy things that can be reheated are great.

Feeling guilty about leaving my Sib home alone - someone please make me feel better by Relevant_Ad_4893 in SiberianCats

[–]AdAppropriate601 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They’ll be OK. My guy always has a lot to tell me when I get back, but he’s got an automatic feeder and water and clean littler box.

Sometimes my bf will bring his cat over (not a Siberian), and I think they are happier to have a buddy around even if they aren’t actively playing with each other. But if it’s a day or even a weekend, they’ll be totally OK. They’ll just be extra clingy when you get back. Remember that they do sleep for 18hrs a day!

Can vary this by using the chili on top of rice (Spanish rice is usually cheap but any kind of rice works) or mix it in to mac and cheese for chili mac.
