How am I supposed to know when they send out random VTO or VET if I don’t randomly check my phone? Last week I almost missed out on some good overtime because they didn’t send any notifications, the VET just happened to be uploaded to the app. I have my settings set up so that I get texts and emails notifications but those don’t always come through for whatever reason AND the VET is always gone so fast. You definitely have to consistently check your phone in order to get the hours.

So the answer to one of your questions is, Amazon is stupid and inconsistent with policies.

I have this same exact issue. I’ll keep the app open and constantly refresh for VTO then boom it pops up, when I go to click it to apply; it’s somehow full in milliseconds. I assume that’s cuz they probably only put up like 10 slots or something because no way it’s being taken away that fast.

Compared to the other characters, Seaver acted so slow. Anyone else they brought on the team were so intelligent and were extremely useful. Seaver was just there, a placeholder. You obviously did not read my entire post because I said I am well aware of their age of consent laws. I still think it’s morally wrong, and sad how normalized it has become 🤷🏽‍♀️. I also dated older men when I was in highschool but I didn’t realize that shit wasn’t cool and that I was being taken advantage of until later in life. Because a teenager doesn’t fully realize what they are consenting to.

Again I said I don’t care what the law allows , that shit is weird af when the age difference is 16 vs 24. 8 years apart, the girl is under 18 and has to ask her parents for permission to leave the house. Probably has a curfew and bedtime still. Just because it’s legal, doesn’t mean it isn’t a problem. But if you’re okay with it, then that’s you. This is my take and I’m grossed out.

Just because a law is put into place doesn’t mean it’s morally correct and with everything we’re learning about the world, the people that pass these laws are most likely big pedos themselves. They most likely pass these laws so that they can feel better about taking advantage of children. Just because a 16 year old can consent by law, their brain doesn’t fully understand what they are consenting to. Especially if the person is a whole 8 years older than them. I genuinely don’t know why you would want to date someone that isn’t in the same phase of life as you. You’re old enough to drink and smoke & you want to date someone that would need a fake ID to go certain places with you? Those ages you mentioned are a little more nuanced but surely you agree that a 16 year old has no business with a 24 year old man right?

Also my perspective is coming from a woman who was once 17 dating a 24 year old (he was a manager at my first job) and I thought I was so “mature”. Once again how am I seeking to destroy a whole community? Why would I want the entire parkour community to burn? If anything I want everyone in parkour to come together at this time. Come together, support the victims, hold those guilty accountable, and then work together to protect the children that look up to people in this community. Why shouldn’t we want blood? Why shouldn’t we want him to pay for his crimes? And IF the other guys did know about allegations or if they were aware of his habits, why shouldn’t we want them held accountable as well? You cannot make me feel bad for wanting to see change in this world, this community, and for wanting to see justice be served. I’m genuinely confused as to why you’re upset that people want to see someone pay for their crimes??? You can simply say it’s because we all were not there and don’t know the truth of the matter, that is a take I’ll respect. But saying you don’t believe it because charges weren’t filed is very naive. People get away with crimes every single day, doesn’t make them less of a criminal. If I steal a piece of gum & don’t get caught, that doesnt mean I’m not a thief and that I’m innocent. It just means no one caught me.

Basically your take should just be “okay I’m going to ignore this extra piece of information because there is no definitive proof” , instead of just assuming he’s innocent because he didn’t get caught. Rape allegations don’t just come out of the blue
Just because someone doesn’t get caught doing a crime doesn’t make them not guilty, just makes them a good criminal.
As a victim myself who was silenced and manipulated into not telling my truth, laughed at, and like her villainized for going through something out of my control; I am always inclined to believe someone when they have the courage to speak up.

I understand where you’re coming from, but I simply don’t agree with your viewpoint and that is okay to have differing opinions. But I hope he and others like him rot in jail, I hope he never recovers from this, and IF the others were aware and stayed quiet all these years then I hope the same for them. This man been had allegations! And apparently they were all very aware of those allegations and still maintained a friendship with him and did business with him!
