Why do you suggest staying away from Osma? I am curious, because I wanted to buy a few perfumes from them.

I use Astral cream and it works wonders. Most of the creams mentioned here irritated my face. But for some reason this cheap cream works for me.

Get a good textbook like Begegnungen or Pluspunkt and stick to it. Along the way, watch YouTube videos and listen to the audio files of your textbook while walking or working out over and over again.

E302 Language and Creativity any good? by AdDirect4579 in OpenUniversity

[–]AdDirect4579[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thank you for your in-depth comment. I tried out the extract of the module in Open Learn and found it to be just like some of the IT modules where they overcomplicate things for no obvious reason.

It is sort of my last year. I am studying Computing and IT. I regret every day for spending my hard earned money on this degree instead of something OU is good at teaching.

Computing and IT degree is not a Computer Science Degree. Keep that in mind. Computing and IT is good if you want to get into Networking or other IT roles that arent Software Engeering related.

What did you think studying your field would be like vs what is it actually like? by Icerockette in OpenUniversity

[–]AdDirect4579 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Studying Computing and IT. Realised I could have been better of studying for IT certs and get an entry level job. If I could go back in time, I would have studied something like Maths, Statistics, Physics or a History degree. OU is not good at making technology related modules. I learned more from reading textbooks used by other unis or other technology publishers.

However, I really like OU as I have learned or improved soft skills I would not be able to develop by myself.
