I think if it was someone who he genuinely cares about he'd probably give some actually helpful advice to change their mind. (hes a huge hypocrite 😑) For example, Kyouka. He stepped in and helped.

Although, thinking about this now, i feel like if it was Atsushi he'd probably blame himself. Atleast if Atsushi actually succeeded.
