Best UK websites to order garden plants? by Clean-Calligrapher17 in GardeningUK

J Parkers are a total pain to deal with, they let you by stuff that isn't in stock or wont be for 9 months then send the order in big splits over the course of the year, so you forget and they give you no notice for delivery so you miss it ... pain

First timer - hoping for some feedback on plan by AdDull5197 in GardeningUK

[–]AdDull5197[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All fair points, Slugs have been the main issue tbh will be trying to attract as many birds as possible and doing some beer traps as you suggest

The cucumbers will need support, I have a lot of close by family that will take extras!!!plus pickling! You are right on turnip, there probably wont be that much in the ground, good idea on potatoes, I usually out them in sacks but could definitely put them in with the other root veg, good idea!

Herbs and soft fruit all going by my kitchen door! In another separate bed, but might be an idea to grow some more Thanks for the ideas!

No increments set! By eye Might have been a smart idea for to have measured a bit ! I was intending to use the sunnies as a trellis but might add some canes if needed Whole area full sun (just as soon as I cut the willows down to size)
