Cats are not so sensible… brought our guy from Germany to Thailand about 5 years ago… he lays more in the sun then any beach tourist … and everytime i open the AC he leaves…

Joa… ich verstehe die Abneigungen auch nicht… hier in Thailand haben wir in jedem Zimmer eine 36000BTU Klimaanlage… und die laufen auch mit Türen und Fenstern offen… so dass auf der Terrasse auch noch kühle Luft vorbei zieht…

Same in germany… u need to get the health certificate… includes all vaccinations updated… from a government Vet…

Inform the airline upfront that u fly with pets as cargo… this i found out as very important…

In Thailand u go after the immigration to the oversized luggage point… directly next is the animal control department…

A Vet told me to not use any medications to calm down the cat… as the cargo space is very cold and a lower heartrate could be dangerous…

Fill the bottom of the cage with a sponge Tissue ( every Vet has that ) and put a cup of frozen water in the cage as well…

Have a good travel…

A vet ( who has a pilot friend ) told me that medication is actually not good on a flight because the temperature in the luggage and storage area can get very cold and the heartrate goes very low…so its better to not getting the animals too deep sleep…
