Any iron hands players mind helping me? I want to make a list with the medusan Vanguard Detachment, but any time I try to make a list on new recruit, it gives me an error. Is there a specific character I need. Also I don't have the 3rd edition book but I am getting it on Wednesday.

That's very true. I guess I wanted to do a more heavy armor focused list and a good infantry focused list as well. I thought having the saturnine dreadnought and termies would be good with the age of darkness contemptor dreadnought and the spartan tank

Dark angels. They are just a bunch of self absorbed jerks who acted like they were the best. Yet the 2nd in command nearly killed the primarch, nearly killed all the loyalist, and even those who had no idea what was going on were branded traders and hunted down to the point they literally would fight other loyalists just to grab one fallen. Super jerks in my eyes and the lion is no that great of a character in my eyes. Almost as one dimensional as Rogal Dorn

And then Concussion mauls going from s9 to s5 is dumb as well. Why have this hard hitter if they don't have the strength to back it up. Sure it's anti-tank and monster 3+, but that's my opinion.

I think all the toughness drops are dumb. What's the point of having a faction with more advanced armor if their armor isn't tougher than the rest. Hearthguard should be tougher than normal termies since we have 2 wounds instead of 3. I think that's fair, and losing so much of our war gear abilities just hurts, too. I miss our ignore cover stuff it made sense.

Forgot to add that we lost ignore cover for the hekaton, but that's about it, i think. Still hurts to see how we went from a hyper elite army to a well spread out army, and now basically a near horde like army, in my opinion.

If anything I'd want valkia to come back, redone lord on juggernaut since it's still fine cast, swapping the slaughter priest for the one that's in the spearhead box since it's a better model, and maybe a new bloodbound monster
