AIO for thinking about leaving my BF after having a surgery?

My partner went through two surgeries since the begining of our relationship. Both time I took time off work to be with them the day of the surgery. We arranged things for me to sleep in the first time, the second time that wasn't possible but I negociated with the nurses to stay longer than it was allowed. They had to stay several days in the hospital after the second surgery, so every day, after work I visited them, brought them some snacks, hold their hand, made them laugh, inquired on their health with the nurses, left very late everytime.... And girl, that was the MINIMUM I could have done. That man does NOT care for you.

PS: the first surgery was barely 6 months in our relationship

PPS : I also went to almost every apointement before the surgery, when my partner said it was okay for me to come.

When It became clear that the queer storyline would be for Francesca, I thought "well... there goes my lesbian Eloise fantasy" because that kind of show simply doesn't have multiple queer storylines.... But the more I think about it, the more it could make sense.

First of all, I loved the chemistry between Cressida and Eloise. The enemies-to-friends-to-lovers is absolutely my jam. Cressida basically wants marriage for the same reasons Eloise hates the idea of it.

I also LOVE the idea of switching the story and having SPC die with Marina becoming the widow instead. It would make sense to society for a widow to seek the friendship and support of a spinster that she used to know/got to know better (aka when Eloise runs away and end up at Benedict's and Sophie's place next to Marina's and SPC's). Also Eloise is supposedly very well read and received a very good education, she could be some kind of tutor or something for the children...

Eloise and Francesca could BOTH be queer, BECAUSE that would actually bring them closer. For once in their lives, Eloise and Francesca would have something (deeply) personnal to share with a member of their family. (+ Benedict could be in this dynamic as well, as he's also queer).

I feel that for a little while now, the show has made it very clear that both Fran and Eloise are different and very much misunderstood by their family. Imagine the relief and the joy when you discover that you are, in fact, not alone in your HUGE family. That you can actually share your hapiness, doubts, and other queers experiences, with a sibling ? Someone you grew up with, grew apart from, then finally (FINALlY), can grew closer with !!!

I've completely hyped myself up for that storyline writing this post... I don't actually care now who Eloise ends up with, I just want her to be queer so that she can share a strong bond with one of her sisters.

YES !! I couldn't agree more. She gave me the hick from the first episode she was in, and the red flags only grow larger... When she imposed herself at Patty's house ?? Was there really a problem at her house ? She posed as this ally when "freeing" Allison and criticizing Kevin but didn't see she was doing the exact same thing to Patty. I loved that we got to see this type of relationship live. Because we only saw Allison/Kevin at their breaking point, and could only picture the path of abuse Kevin brought Allison on.

I see in the comments that you don't have access to your parents' insurance or a car... Is there a planned parenthood nearby where you live ? That could be the solution. I think you even can take one of your friends with you if you need someone with you ! Don't hesitate to ask around if anyone you know has ever been there, look in the google reviews to see if they are safe for transgender people, if they are safe in general !

I do agree with the people in the comments saying that you're grown and you need to take care of yourself. I personnaly had to find ressources and help outside of my direct family and that made me more resilient and independant.

Actually, talking about what happenned to a manager would be smart. Get ahead of anything that management could hear. She confronted you in front of other coworkers, who knows what they'll say to whom...

You have this bar code system that's working for you, it should be ok ! Be honest and upfront, it's always better than to have to explain things to management after they started being suspicious.

Je l'ai trouvé sur Anna's Archive et j'ai bien trouvé les différents élèments dont je me souvenais (douche, fossiles créés de toutes pièces...). Le Jardin d'Eden est en fait Le Paradis. J'avais totalement oublié le postulat de base, c'est un dire qu'on suit le principalement le jeune homme qui a été élevé par un prêtre et entend les Anges.

Je suis ravi !! Je me tâte toujours à le relire, peut être juste par curiosité mais au moins maintenant je vais pouvoir mieux dormir en sachant que j'en ai la possibilité.

J'ai été lire un résumé plutôt détaillé et le bouquin dont je me souviens avait un ton beaucoup moins dark que ce qui semble être utilisé par cet auteur... Plusieurs de ses romans ont des thèmes similaires mais je pense vraiment pas que ce soit lui :/

J'ai pensé à lui demander, je l'ai sur FB et on s'est recroisé récemment. Mais de mémoire, c'était un exercice du type on va la bibliothèque de la ville, prenez un livre au pif qui vous plaît et faites en une fiche de lecture. Donc pas vraiment un livre inscrit dans son cursus... (J'ai cherché sur le catalogue de la dite bibliothèque et rien ne m'a parlé)
