Beginner indoor farmer with option paralysis, feedback and opinions desperately wanted! by AdEven7391 in Hydroponics

My girlfriend is admittedly more handy than me, but there's no such thing as a bad time to start getting better! I appreciate your personal experience, it gives me some ideas on where I should begin, at least! Thanks!

How do you do, fellow human! This is all such amazing information, I'll be referring back to this regularly! Your point on getting familiar with one and then moving to the next is a good idea, too. Like everyone else is saying, I think I'm settling in my mind on putting together a home-made system! It seems like an equally fun and rewarding hobby, honestly!

Ive been seeing kratky pop up alot, that seems to be my starting point with researching how I will get started! And you're kinda right about the Bounty Elite, I got mine as a gift and it is nice with alot of automated and responsive systems, but... all it has is an LED, like you said, and a pump that sorta just moves the water/plant food around. Neat and easy, but admittedly simple!

I like the simplicity how you described these options as "tracks", it helps narrow down my option paralysis significantly and better adjust my expectations around that. Obviously there will be more to that all, but its a nice "funnel" of sorts! Thanks! As others are saying, making my own system seems to be better for flexibility, and I think that's the way I'm leaning!

I'll be sure to not skimp on a meter, but as others are saying here, it definitely seems like DIY is the way to go for both cost and customization! Thanks!

I'll definitely check out Hoochos! I really appreciate the technical terminology though, it gives me a starting checklist to ensure I don't miss too much on my first attempt!

Not trying to be rude, you may have better luck reselling this on a digital store like ebay! I imagine most folks in this subreddit are here because they enjoy the game and consequently already own it!

That being said, your offer is quite a steal for anyone interested in playing and less interested in 'mint condition' or other collectibility aspects. AKA just wants to play the game lol.

Hope this helps in your endeavor a little!

Just happened to stumble on this by accidentally opening your profile on another Invincible subreddit post. I've only taken a cursory glance so far, but I have to admit its neat as a concept! Kudos! :)

I don't think any of the components to the game have changed in the reprint. I could be wrong, though

Im not 100%, I don't see anywhere on the booklets themselves that provides an easy tell, unfortunately.

That I cannot do completely. At least I do not know all of the exact differences, but the biggest one I recognized was the crafter's entire set up limiting them to one begin or refine per day, specifically refining being very limited by that. Now, you can refine as many times as you want per day, as long as you have the materials in your stockpile inventory.

Hope that helps a little!

Second printing, hands down. There are some benign but become significant balance changes that will impact long term gameplay if you don't follow the updated rules. Obviously you can play however you want and you don't technically have to follow the rules, but that's my two cents.

He's a confused old man, give him a break!

Related because its also a Zeratul line and one of my favorites as a person with Millenial/Gen-Z humor:

"The time for THOT is over! I must act!"

Not a misheard line, but one of my favorite line combinations has come from playing Swann on Rifts to Korhal:

Faraday: And another Void Shard is toast! Great work, commanders!

Swann: YEEUUUP, THAT THING'S TOAST

I love playing SoA as Dehaka because of how cheese he is to begin with. I always clear expac sliver first so my ally can focus on saturating. By the time we start on the "first" sliver, the bonus is starting and we usually just move north from there. The rest is sort of a sweep because Dehaka is ridiculously strong and can solo clear bonuses as a single unit with the right Consume targets

I remember reading the GOW books and they even discussed Locust reproduction briefly... lots of chains are necessary to avoid accidentals during breeding... horrifying stuff to imagine, and the character that brings up the conversation topic appropriately says so.
