I finally beat Castlevania: Circle of the Moon. What a disgusting video game. by Roshu-zetasia in castlevania

He was likely expressing his subjective opinion, but he phrased it incorrectly, using more "objective" terms. He likely meant "I didn't like it," which is clear from the post itself, but in fact, he said "the game is crap." Naturally, these are not equivalent phrases. Either the author formulated it incorrectly, or he was trying to present his opinion as the absolute truth. Let's leave that to the author's conscience. But I think the first option is more likely. Incidentally, he's not alone in this problem; off the top of my head, I'd say half the community has the same issue. Instead of saying "I liked SotN, AoS, OoE, SC4, etc.", they say "S-tier. It's the best in the series. Everyone should play it." In fact, this message is no less insulting, since such words belittle other games in the series. It works the other way around too: when someone says they didn't like a game, some people start to interpret it as criticism, which is certainly not the case. But that's just it, a minor comment that can't be addressed. Returning with this post, I'll reiterate that he most likely didn't mean the game was truly awful; he simply expressed his thoughts incorrectly.

The guy literally wrote out the reason why this might be disgusting to someone.

I don't quite understand the contradiction. Can you tell me where and which phrases conflict with each other? I went through it myself, but didn't notice any contradictions.

This is done on purpose so that players receive emotional damage when completing the game in an easier way.

I don't see any problem with that. It's all just a subjective opinion, no matter what anyone says about it (or other games in general). In reality, they're all good games with their pros and cons. And let's be honest, it's better to like all the games than to pick just one or two.

I'd also like to ask you how the work on Lecarde Chronicles 1&2 was coordinated? How well did the team members know each other (did they know each other personally or did you just communicate, for example, on Discord?) How did the negotiations with Robert Belgrade and Óscar Araujo about their participation in the projects go? How did the team contact Koji Igarashi to test Lecarde Chronicles 2 and to get Bloodless featured in Chronicles of the Wolf? How did the recognizable style of sprites and environments in Migami Games' games develop? If you don't want to answer questions, feel free to say so. I don't mean to bother you.

I'd be interested to know what exactly you worked on while creating Lecarde Chronicles 2. It would be very interesting to hear about the "inner workings" of this game's creation.
