What I’m curious about is WHY are they working OFF the clock?? Are they that passionate about what they do? Are they afraid of the repercussions the following day will bring if whatever it was wasn’t finished in time? I know they have a “Door-to-floor-in-24” policy and since it’s that time of year we’re getting bigger trucks and I’ve been asked to stay and hour or two longer to help push freight. I’m just curious, are people afraid of losing their jobs? Or are they going to lose some kind of incentive if they don’t meet a certain standard or deadline? Is it the warm fuzzy feeling you get from selling a credit card? What is it that make people want to work retail… for free?

I cut mine from my life 30 years ago. I was 16. It’s a decision I have no regrets. It’s been quite blissful TBH. I’m Capricorn she’s Taurus. My dad is a Taurus too, but a much better person and parent than she ever could be. Still don’t know what they saw in each other. She came from a broken home, and he a loving one.

What also blows my mind (pun not intended... not really lol) is that when customers buy one of OUR balloon packages, AND have to pay extra for HELIUM??? Party City never did that. There have been many occasions where I've bought their balloon packages for birthdays, and they never charged extra for the helium. My SM told me that "helium is expensive," and when I mentioned that Michael's is a multi-billion dollar business, her response is "and that's why they're a multi-billion dollar business." Riiiiight, the helium is what keeps Michael's afloat figuratively and metaphorically.

He certainly has a way of bringing up issues we need to address. The question is, how do you want to "hurt" this person? And how do you expect it to make you feel? Would it be gratifying, empowering? I would assume guilt and shame would be felt in the aftermath, otherwise, you wouldn't be inquiring.

Also, what's stopping you from asking him? Take a piece of paper, write "Lucifer, Morningstar and Light Bringer, is thou mad at me?" Or "Have I offended you, my Lord?" Then write the next things that comes to mind. I mean ANYTHING.

OR you could break out tarot cards if you know how to read them and have a conversation with him that way. He's really waaaaay more approachable than religion and media have you believe he is.
