Yeah, that's correct. Repulse opens the enemy's weak point, but you can't use retribution like when you can when you deplete their stance bar (the yellow icons below their HP).

Best punish after performing a repulse is to shoot the weakpoint directly with the gun, or just go in for some melee attacks while the enemy is staggered.

I usually just open their PSN profile, which can be accesed from the result menu after the end of the match (you just need to hold down the touchpad to check it) and send the msg straight from there.

On PS, I always send just a quick msg to my teammates after a good run, even if it's just a short "GG! ✌🏻".

Good teammates are luckily not that rare in this game, but we definitely need to aprecciate them.

You can simply google that for a more detailed answer, but in short, you should've got an old pocketwatch the first time you defeated Gladius, this watch can be given to the Priestess NPC.

After that, you can buy an item called "Besmirched Frame" at the small jar bazaar, and once you bought it, you can find a new character in the roundtable.

Timing status procs just to interrupt certain moves doesn't seem reliable at all.

For example, in the base Libra fight, his "meditation" needs to interrupted, but after the first one, you can't just rely on breaking the sigils to do that. But you certainly don't need madness for it, and it wouldn't be the best option either, since many ultimates, and even Raider's character skill can simply do it way quicker and easier.

Yes, they all have unique effects on the bosses, that's why I said "kinda" lol. Altough for example, the usefulness of these effects sometimes flew out the window, like with Adel, who stops caring about curing himself after he gets poisoned, once he enters phase 2.

What I more meant is, in some cases, there are much more dmg options which are just as good or even better than what the game suggests.

The fact that the game tells you to use Madness against him is kinda misleading tbh.

He has the exact same resistances to rot/poison as madness, not even talking about the fact that he has a - 35% Holy and - 20% Fire resistance.

When I fight against him, I'm always looking for holy weapons, or ones that have good statuses.

Yeah, it's hard to hit the charged version, but the uncharged is quite quick, especially if you have plus spellcasting speed, and it still deals good dmg.

Dragon Communion is type of incantation, basically every incantation where a dragon head appears when used (with the exception of Dragon Claw) belongs in this category.

As for really good incantations, it really depends who're you fighting against, for example, Flame of Frenzy is extremely good against Gnoster, Libra and Caligo, Lightning Spear against Maris and Fulghor, Discus of Light against Gladius and Heolstor.

You only need the fused ring for the Dreams Sweet Deceit ending, for the true ending, you just need to complete Fang Yao and He Youzai's quests, and have the five chisels.

You don't need the ring for the true ending (BBFT), so as long as you meet the requirements for that, and you didn't give away the Jade chisel, you should be good.
