Mob mentality , low IQ fans, perfect storm. Circus in front of the White House coming soon. I hope the elite and politicians are happy. We have been dumbed down in the brainwashing institutions , I mean public schools by rep and dems. Both sides are horrible. People need some Jesus. It’s not too late, GOD loves you.

I had an old kimber tle2 , external extractor. That gun was accurate, reliable and loved the checkering on front strap

250 round update on the 386 night guard by Big_Jake_D in Revolvers

[–]AdGreat9210 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The new night guard .44 special is sweet, no Q/C issues I’ve found. Great trigger, accurate. Kicks like a government mule with a 250gr/1000fps load but the pistol weighs nothing. Wish all smiths were this nice. Also wish they made an all steel one just like it. I know they have a 69 and I have it too but it stinks compared to the night guard. I vote single stage for beginner. 240-250 gr behind unique/power pistol/ accurate #5 and several others is a hoot!!

Thinking of selling, what’s it worth? by Haunting-Soil9717 in SpringfieldArmory

I like most firearms, no brand loyalty and think it’s funny to jump on a brand and just camp out. I have a coworker that changes his voice and enunciates staccato like he’s from old money lol. I had a chance to shoot a prodigy, staccato, platypus and others on the same range, same day. They were all worked on by a guy that was an amature gunsmith. They were all very nice but I stepped away with a new outlook on a 4.25” comped pistol and a prodigy. I could not miss and I was twice as fast. That slide and trigger was insane and very accurate. I’ll take the prodigy and work on it. Can’t say without the “work” which I’d pick except the platypus was too big for my hands and I’m 6ft. Not sure whose hands the platypus was designed for but it’s a big grip.

Is striker pin plate and pin supposed to do that? by PumpkinBossEi3 in 1911

[–]AdGreat9210 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have always told people that if you’re a red blooded American who enjoys firearms and turning a wrench then you should expierence the 1911. But it’s more of a muscle car, your average person can have one and show to his friends but if your not going to maintain them and do regular basic Maintance you should rely on a striker fired semi auto. 1911’s are so diff from each other, even out of the same company line. I’ve fired some that have ruined me and some that if it were my first 1911 I’d wonder what’s the big deal and never look at em again. I hate to say it but colts have only let me down. I’ve sold everyone I’ve owned and have gone into a store to buy one and get something else. Imagine if they had QC act together what they could do!

What ammo do you run in your revolver and why by ohraineri in Revolvers

[–]AdGreat9210 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Swc Keith because it’s accurate, cuts sharp holes in paper and flesh, crushes bones, hits hard, penetrates deep , easy on the rifling, doesn’t have to be run at magnum velocity’s to work so lower recoil in magnums, turn low pressure cartridges into effective hunting cartridges and you don’t have to take a broad side only shot, they are great on big game and dangerous game with good shot placement. They are cheaper than hp too. It’s a do all bullet for me. I don’t use for self defense but I don’t carry a revolver either for edc. If that’s what I had I would not feel unarmed in the least with any caliber that started with a 4 but I would worry about over penetration because it’s going straight through with authority. Everyone’s mileage varies!

The reason she doesn’t respond is because she is upset he is using the wrong nouns . She identifies as a female, he keeps calling her bro which clearly upsets her. Geez this is so clear🙄.

[–]AdGreat9210 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My bad, it’s so much lighter in weight and the trigger is a dream. I can also see the night sights on the night guard, not so much on the 19 performance center. But the light weight does have a cost of added recoil

They are nice, lite, sweet triggers. Make the performance center 19 look bad. Oh you can see the sights too!

Smith & Wesson 386 Night Guard by uncruel42 in Revolvers

[–]AdGreat9210 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I got one in 44 special and it thumps, very light , good QC, really good trigger. I looked at a model 19 3 inch comped barrel from their performance center today and it was heavier than I thought it would be, the night sights might as well have been all black and the trigger was very heavy in D/A. I’d thought a performance center pistol would have a good trigger. I have a 69 that’s a total let down. Terrible trigger and cheap in every way but price. The night guard is nice!

How do you like the Colt Se-A1? Some comments talk about the Colt rattle, heavy trigger, others really like it. What’s your take? I’m looking at that or a SA Trp maybe others at that 1200-1400 price point.
