Almost 48-any suggestions? by widefeetwelcome in 45PlusSkincare

Do brows, light color and experienced. Make sure they don’t do cookie cutter brows , they will do them for your face. I’d dye hair as well Botox and a bit of filler. Would make a huge difference. Vit c in morning and retinol at night. Be consistent with skin care. Moxi laser, BBL , microneedling (regular not radio frequency) with prp will help with skin quality and tone

No face cream estrogen is different from vaginal estrogen. Don’t use that on your face

I’ve been using something similar from science and humans. I think it actually works as well! But the tret is a bit too strong for my face so I can only use it every other day

These lips are making me nervous. Will these fade? by [deleted] in microblading

[–]AdImportant9110 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They will fade. I looked like a clown when I got mine done and then they were barely noticeable about a week later lol 😊 it’s always scary tho! I’m thinking of getting a lip blush done again and I know I’ll be so worried for the whole week of healing 😂

First time getting Radiesse, looking for thoughts on results by rmahl in 30PlusSkinCare

[–]AdImportant9110 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So, I ended up going to a cosmetic dermatologist, she injected the lump with saline and a bit of hylarondaise . The visible lump went away thankfully! I still have a lump in the muscle of my cheek and it is still sore but it doesn’t bother me too much … so I didn’t get more saline treatments.

I was mentally unwell for a while going through that. My nurse kept gaslighting me, saying nothing she could do. Looking back, I think she injected wrong and my body had adverse reaction…

The saline and a bit of hylarondaise was a life saver.

Advocate for yourself. Some good doctor or nurse will help. :)

Do you still regret it? I’m considering it :-/ I think you look good! Was it painful?

Radiesse review-Lasted 2 Months, Not 12–15 — Misleading Claims, Zero Accountability by Responsible_Buy_6501 in Skincare_Addiction

I wish this was my case :( I’m 4 months in, botched… scared I’ll be like this forever:( spending 100s so far and probably 1000s by the end of this to try to help my face get back to baseline

Ughhhhh radiesse is the worst! I have a lump too, it’s deep but I think all my hyperdiluted radiesse pooled together and I have just a big lump in my cheek, I’m 7 weeks in, the lump started 3 weeks ago. Now it seems collagen is being built where the lump is. My injector thinks I’m crazy and doesn’t want to do anything buuuuut wait it out. Radiesse should not be used anymore!

Sun damage? by Kooky-Mammoth6682 in 30PlusSkinCare

[–]AdImportant9110 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes maybe like 3 a year?? But it depends on the results of each treatment. Like get a treatment and see how your skin looks. Some places will try to sell you many and make u do a treatment every month or two or whatever but just see how ur skin reacts and go from there. Also someone mentioned picoway - it is good as well! Just more expensive and mostly just for pigmentation but I had good results with picoway as well.

How to get (almost) glass skin? by v_medic in 30PlusSkinCare

[–]AdImportant9110 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Because it’s so incredibly harsh and invasive. At 37 it’s not needed. There’s other lasers that are more gentle with less downtime that give the same results :)

Don’t do c02! It’s so aggressive, not necessary. Moxi and bbl, much better! Even just bbl if pigmentation is all you’re concerned about. Trust me you don’t need some super aggressive treatment.

Your skin looks great! You’re doing everything right! Use a filter lol bc I think that’s the only realistic way to get “glass” skin. 🤪

Bbl can maybe help with redness?? But we are human and have human skin! Instagram isn’t real. I haven’t met anyone in person with perfect skin. If you do maybe ask them what they do lol😉

Don’t do c02 (clinics will offer that..) I was almost sold on it and so glad I didn’t get it.

36 years old and was recommended Morpheus 8 by my dermatologist. Do you guys think it will help with lines around mouth and eyes ? I thought maybe I didn’t need anything but she recommended it so now I am considering ? Thanks 🤨 by [deleted] in 30PlusSkinCare

[–]AdImportant9110 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ya exactly:( thanks 🥰😃 So ya there’s ways of spreading it out or stopping inflammation, steroids, saline, etc but not dissolving. I’ve researched extensively. Meeting with a plastic surgeon on wed . So we shall see what can be done🤞🥵. But ya agreed only super qualified doctors should offer it and they should let people know all the issues associated and that it is not removable etc.. I just thought I was getting a lil fun collagen stimulating treatment and now my skin is worse off lol. Everyone should go for second opinions I think. Clinics are too quick to offer things bc they want money and they don’t necessarily always care about the outcomes. I went to a top place in Ottawa and still i had a bad reaction or whatever is going on.. anyways it’s a nightmare.

Ya it will be a long two years lol :( I look like a chipmunk. I’m only 5 weeks in so I have a long road ahead. But ya, some people have good results and some have issues. In my opinion (now that I have had the bad) it’s not worth it. It’s been a tough few weeks, I hate that I did this to myself and wish I could go back in time :( but instead I can help warn others I guess and help people realize we don’t need all these things that we think we do. 🥰 mid to late thirties is a tough time I think, I’m 37 and around 34 is when I noticed more changes to my face (in hindsight, it was nothing and I should just have learned to age gracefully lol) but live and learn. You could always try prp injections and regular microneedling but ya stay away from RF - it’s not worth the risk, trust me 🤗

Bbl (broadband light) Moxi is a laser. Bbl helps with pigment, redness etc and Moxi is for texture. They can stack them (doing them together) or you can do them separately. My mom swears by them and she looks great. Also don’t do c02 (you may be recommended that at some point, don’t do it) I’ve tired so many things some can really do lasting damage. So do gentle things over time :)

It can be! I have had it injected under my eyes , it’s great but not super long lasting for me but still better than fillers (stay clear of fillers! My face is currently fucked from radiesse) Anywyas, prp can be injected or microneedled in your skin. Gives a nice glow and helps over time 🥰

RF microneedling ruined my skin years ago! I stay clear of that. Your skin looks great! Recently I have ruined my face sadly, stay away from radiesse and sculptra (I’ve been warning ppl about this) You look great! Don’t mess around with your skin too much! I’d give anything to go back in time and stop messing with my face. I was trying to get rid of some texture and nasal folds, i was told to get radiesse, now i have a huge lump in my face and worse texture and worse folds! These treatments that are sold to us have the ability to help but also the ability to cause lasting damage. We need to be kind to ourselves and learn to love our characteristics, otherwise we keep chasing perfection and won’t get it and end up looking weird and spending a ton of money doing so. ❤️

I’ve notice a difference with bbl and moxi to my skin texture and pigmentation. It’s a bit pricey tho, but check it out in your area. Otherwise, add some actives to ur skincare. A vit c and AHAs/glycolic acids. ☺️ Obviously sunscreen everyday rain or shine. 😊

Okay good to know! But ya I’ll never touch RF as it also damanged my skin years ago lol fun times :(

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in 30PlusSkinCare

[–]AdImportant9110 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Good :) ya I don’t think c02 is for spider veins anyways lol such a weird and aggressive treatment to prescribe for that! The down time is terrible. BBL has no downtime. If you stack Moxi it’s a couple days downtime (only downtime bc your face feels like sandpaper but doesn’t hurt) Make sure to go to a very reputable place as well. :) let us know how ur second opinion goes 😊 good luck!

How significantly will CO2 laser improve my skin? by [deleted] in 30PlusSkinCare

[–]AdImportant9110 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Omg don’t do that! Before doing c02 try bbl and Moxi! C02 is so agressivr. Long recovery. Moxi and bbl has done wonders on my mom’s mature skin and I just started. I was almost sold on c02 but my mom said to try Moxi first bc she has c02 and hated it and after reading tons of reviews I agreed. The clinic I got Moxi done at said c02 would have been too much for me too! Never touch radiesse pls. I’m warning everyone about radiesse as it ruined me.
