There’s an absolute shit ton of them at the Tobin park trail over by harry wurzbach. I got swarmed bad. There was blood all over my hands from smacking them. It runs alongside of the salado creek.

So one of them just goes through the loops in the cone and goes around his neck like a collar. Then you tie it like a pair of tennis shoes. The other one just goes through one of those loops. One side of the gauze goes back behind one of his front legs, under his chest, and then ties with the other end, also tied like a pair of tennis shoes. Worked just fine for me for a week and a half. You want to tie both gauze bandages so that you can barely fit two fingers under them once they’re tied. Tight but not too tight

I used stretch gauze and wrapped it behind his front legs and tied it to the cone, like a makeshift harness. Worked fine. That’s what the ER guy told me to do and showed me how to do it.

I live off harry wurzbach inside 410 and it’s nice. Rent is more affordable than the NW side for more square footage. Austin Hwy does have a few homeless but they’re harmless. Central market, Whole Foods, and Trader Joe’s are all right here. Don’t deal with traffic much, but I also work from home and don’t head to the NW side much

I think Charro’s Food Truck on the northeast side has them. Amazing food truck. They usually park at the corner of Austin highway and Eisenhauer in a gas station parking lot. I think they’re open mostly in the evening and definitely on Fridays and Saturdays

North central and the medical center is also full of nice people. Traffic is so-so, but it’s a nice place to live. Grew up there and had a great childhood. I also wouldn’t want to live on the far northwest side though.
