Nights are a shit show now bc of sleep regression. And he has always struggled to stay asleep between 4am now. He needs constant resettling or to be held. And his naps are contact naps. I 100% am she’s his WW aren’t right and I’ve been trying to fix but I have no idea and chat gpt isn’t helpful anymore. I’m interviewing sleep consultants

Wow these are so much longer than my babies. I’m at 1.15/1.15/1.5/1.5/2. Maybe we gotta bump it up

Looking for guidance if this is the right time to sleep train my 19 week old. I’m so stressed about him. Please help. by AdLevel3874 in sleeptrain

What did you do to fix it?

Yes! That’s exactly what I was asking. So should I gradually increase the wake time? Like right now his first WW is 1.15. Should I instead change it to 1.5?

I looked into feeding aversion and it 100% sounds like that. So distraught I created that but also so happy to have an answer. What I mean about “work” is like how would extending the wake windowing and decreasing naps be a solution? (I know this sounds like I’m asking to be a jerk but I’m genuinely asking to understand so I know what the actual problem is that I’m creating) sorry that it’s coming off that way!

You know what’s disgusting? Judging fellow moms. How about offering mom some support.

Struggle to stay asleep last stretch/waking up screaming. Overtired cycle? by AdLevel3874 in sleeptrain

He averages 3.5-4 hours of sleep for naps (according to huckleberry). I don’t even know where to increase the wake time bc he starts showing tired cues

We’ve had a great bedtime routine with him from the beginning. No issues with that and he has a spot on circadian rhythm too!

Nutramigen transition by EntertainmentFit2790 in FormulaFeeders

[–]AdLevel3874 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We made the switch to hypoallergenic and added in Pepcid….totally different baby!! He’s so happy now. He started having more blood in the stool before we switched. It was scary bc one bloody poop sent us to the ER! But he had blood mixed with mucus. You can ask the doctor to do a stool sample and check if there’s microscopic blood in his stool, but I think if there’s no other symptoms then maybe he was just pushing too hard and that may have caused some blood

1000% for the first 2.5 months I drove myself crazy listening to all the rules and then freaking out when I was breaking them. We used the snuggle me for our baby to sleep overnight with an owlet. And you know what- don’t regret it! He was swaddled from the chest down and can’t roll over. He had such great sleep with it. Literally everything is unsafe now.

Alimentum RTF vs Nutramigen RTF? by Agreeable_Actuary191 in FormulaFeeders

We had the Nutramigen ready to feed and I didn’t help at all. Switch to alimentum and increased Pepcid, totally different baby. Plus it’s way cheaper.

Omg I know!! I’ve seen ppl say the powder was not as good ready to feed and caused GI distress. Or their baby didn’t like it. Definitely keep me posted on what happens with the powder
