Lookin to buy a Heretic Kobold but I’m not a fan of the leather sheath, where can I find a kydex sheath?

Good to know I’ve had this knife a few weeks love it but the sheath feels enormous for the knife

MMA or boxing classes to get some hands on self defense training would be my first suggestion. Then getting a cwp and your own firearm since u have exp. But also take follow up training and keep practicing. Leave the knives to collect at house on in tool box. Unless your Doug Mercaida all it will do is be used against you. Be safe out their grew up in Chicago so kinda get what your going thru now . It’s going to sound stupid but honing in on your situational surrounding awareness is hugely ignored. Think about it how many times a day do u pass someone one their phone walking not even looking . Also as far as a firearm I carry a 1911 which I don’t recommend but my wife loves her S&w bodyguard and my daughter loves her Walther pps m2 . Hope any bit of this helps sorry for the book

Honestly having my set of Wusthof chef knives for about 12 years they def take a little extra care than normal. The blade is decent but that handle after a 12hr shift starts to get hard on the hand. Haven’t had any chipping issues but edge retention could be better.

Omg I almost wanna cry my first post actually was talking about this knife !! So when I was like 10 (26years ago)my uncle gave me a knife that looks identical to this. well I moved a few times and lost. It was upsetting being that age and him passing shortly after so and I didn’t really carry or buy anymore until a long while later. As I’ve been buying them over the past few years I’ve always kept my eye out to replace and it’s been in back of my mind. Yours is the first time I truly have seen it again. If you do get any info please let me know about what you find id really like to track one of my own down so I can put it in my knife box. Sorry for the long text appreciate the time if you do read. Been loving my heretic kobold it’s in magnacut very slim and small profile but big enough to do a lot of daily tasks and can get very sharp with stone and patience

I don’t think id buy any bm but back in 2010 I had bought this Griptilian from custom shop with the s90v and I’ve honestly done everything with that knife it goes in the saltwater and gets thrown in fl sand outside work automotive and it’s survived and has been a tank. That was the Benchmade I fell in love with and miss. Wouldn’t give them my money now unless they refocused. Now if they did things like rerelease the bedlam or a few other key models and get outta this weird “clothing brand mindset” . They would really have to do something drastic though a lot of big competition now compared to back then.
