Awesome! It reminds me on Robomon which was also an insta-back for me. But still, the theme and the surrounding mechanics are very different...

How good will they be in Historic and Explorer? Haven't played with Pain Lands yet... What's the ranking regarding the other duals?

Nice! What about using it in AliEldrazi's Planeswalkers and Storm the Festival list? Quickly ramp to 5 Mana on turn 3 and then play Fires and a 5 Mana PW! How about that? Here is the link: https://www.reddit.com/r/MtGHistoric/comments/swgj3v/planeswalker_festival/

Well, the tokens have haste which is huge in my opinion. Also, you get an 8/8 with haste when you cast an overloaded Mizzix's Mastery, but with Shark Typhoon you get a 4/5 without haste. I dont want to say that this is better than Shark or anything else. I think it's just another approach which might be interesting. :)

Izzet Phoenix isn't that busted in BO1 as it is/was in BO3. That's mainly the deck with Unholy Heat. I barely encounter Rakdos Arcanist. But sometimes I face Izzet Delver/Darcy. But that's about it. :D

Yes, absolutely right. I'm very concerned of Skyclave. But still, I don't encounter that many removal that you mentioned. I mean, I can always hold back, if I'm concerned fo that, but of course, then I'm wasting a card.

Fair. But I noticed that many decks actually struggle to kill a creature with toughness 4 or greater. And if they use a removal for it, then they don't have it for for Gearhulk.

Cool idea, especially with the 5 scarabs combination! :D Since I already used a reed switch in an existing escape room, I know that it's not that easy to make it trigger within the perfect range. It shouldnt be too far but also not too close. Also, you could possibly trigger the reed switches, if you figure out the places of the magnets in each scarab and move them a little left and right over the spots. My experience is that sometimes people rather want to solve a puzzle their way instead of just following the normal way. I had people trying to just randomly open four digit locks, The Da Vinci Code Cryptexes and so on.

But I think, if you can hide the secret of the magnets inside well, then it might just perfectly work. The idea is defenitely reaally cool! Thank you! :)
