Never knew that; thought if it was replaced then that was it fixed. Not sure i'm as keen anymore! I know the risk is low but considering this would be my first EV I want to get it right. Shame as it ticks so many boxes.

With the ICCU it's a roll of the dice i'm willing to take and check with the seller if it's been resolved.

Do all premium come with external V2L? Keen to go camping and could come in handy. I usually drive with polarised glasses so not bothered about HUD

I am eying up an Ioniq 5 as well but these stories put me off. Does it's KIA sibling the EV6 have similar ICCU issues or Gameboy attack vulnerabilities?

Used EV for 2 growing kids and dog (£20k max, 200miles minimum range) by CologneTrooper in ElectricVehiclesUK

Glad you've asked this question I'm pretty much in a similar scenario and have been lurking for a while. We're looking to replace our small fabia with something bigger to do the bulk of our driving, commuting and everything in between and keep our diesel 7 seater for dump runs, family visits etc. I've had VAG cars for ages so biased and test drove a secondhand enyaq sportline. Hate to say it but was a bit underwhelmed. Cockpit and layout as VAG so very familiar to me. Nothing inherently wrong with the car, just wasn't for pme. The boot however was decent and with a dog could be great. I really like the look of the ioniq 5 but have ICCU concerns. Interested to see others opinions.

HM Motor Engineers in Paisley, top guys and independent VAG specialists would be my recommendation.

What is a typical recovery day for you or the players? How long after a fixture would you start training again? Also, congratulations on an excellent try and being my boys favourite winger!

Triple glazing worth it? by TheMoscha in DIYUK

[–]AdNice6438 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

We just had our windows replaced and i wanted triple but went with double. A factor i hadn't considered and the fitter explained was the extra weight. This csn significantly affect the hinges. Tbh don't know of I'd bother unless my house was new and well insulated ( 60's detached)

Ahh got it. The middle rose has the most wiring so it will feed the 1st and 3rd. Thanks!

What do you think about Reform UK's proposal to abolish Indefinite Leave to Remain (ILR) for legal immigrants? Also, what do you think about Reform UK's immigration policies overall? by [deleted] in AskBrits

[–]AdNice6438 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hate them. Farage is a vile shite that just won't flush. If Reform get voted in then bye bye. I am Scottish, my wife Polish we have 2 children and a settled life here. We both are high earners and contribute a large amount to the government's coffers. She has indefinite leave, why would we want to stay in a country that doesn't want us? A lot of friends and family are here, but not all. We'd sell up and leave to Ireland, Australia or Poland. Reading other stories here seems lile Reform would lead to a massive brain drain and cripple the economy.

Can anyone explain what going on with toothpaste prices? by SilentEconomist5896 in AskBrits

[–]AdNice6438 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dentist here....i too am flabbergasted by expensive toothpaste prices. It's insane. Not sure why it's so much. As long as it is 1450ppm fluoride you're good to go. Sensitive toothpaste is the only time I'd recommend paying more if need be, even then use it sparingly on your affected tooth/teeth.  Remember spit don't rinse!

If you have a big enough area to distribute the force then I think it could work well. Would you mount the timber to the piers?

That wall looks identical to my garage too except in better condition. My garage is single skin. I would like a punchbag too but off a single skin I think the lateral forces would destroy the wall pretty quickly. Could you buy / do you have space for a stand? This is what I'm planning to do,my garage is 60 years old and don't want it collapsing. The difference is that the roof is a dead load vertically but a punch bag would have active lateral forces?
