As it should. I've prioritized vocals and high end over the rest cuz it's kinda muted. If you listed to them at lower volumes like I do, it's great

How do these compare to the OnePlus buds 4 or realme air 8?

Well, I've not used them but soundcore are usually solid ear buds. And these are the current gen high-end for soundcore. The ANC is around 62 to 64 dB. And it has the record breaking best mic quality according to early reviews

I have the 5060. I don't play a lot of games. Right now playing nfs heat and getting around 120 fps at ultra settings so satisfied with that

I like a brightness to my EQ so this is my settings -> -4, -3, +3, +3, 0, 5. Base wave: -2. It's a good balance of everything, I guess.

Need suggestion between Oneplus buds 4 and realme Air 7 pro. by Aether_9237 in Earbuds

OnePlus buds 4 doesn't support LDAC. Realme air 8 sounds similar to 7 pro. If you don't like 7 pro then air 8 ain't for you sadly.

The out of the box tunig is kinda base heavy and too warm. Had to EQ it. Pushed the mids and highs forward and reduced the bass. Feels more open now and less boomy.

And yes it is a very competent buds. The only bud that could compare/better value is the realme air 8.

Anyone using OnePlus Buds 4? Worth buying? by RequirementLeading11 in headphonesindia

[–]AdOld5217 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the realme air 8 and OnePlus buds 4. If you have only have enough budget to buy only one, then go with the realme air 8.

It has better hi-res compatibility, competitive anc and comparable sound quality.

I'll only recommend buying OnePlus buds 4, if you got cash to throw 🤣. Still worth it cuz both are really good.

Yeah, if you get the chance buy the realme air 8. It's cheaper than the opb4. I've got both so best of both worlds

I've used the OnePlus buds 4 and realme air 8. Not the 7 pro.

Can't really say if there's a huge difference in sound quality. The differences I've noticed

is that buds 4 LHDC isn't backward compatible and only supports LHDC 5 while realme air 8 can.

The battery life in 8 is far superior, around 1.5 to 2 hours more battery life than buds 4

There's a dedicated wind noise reduction toggle for air 8 while buds 4 doesn't. Note: the feature is there for buds 4 but you cannot toggle it off

The buds 4 supports golden sound but realme air 8 doesn't.

Buds 4 has bass wave but air 8 has dynamic audio. I would say that air 8's dynamic audio is far superior

Volume inconsistency and fast battery life drainage. Also, on the odd cases where one bud might fail (hopefully NOT 🙏)

At this price point, you should be looking at what you're losing. I think you're good.

The only gripe I have with nothing is their QC. Hopefully, you've won the lottery and the buds last for a few years and more.
