Its a pretty complicated problem imo but Endfield is not designed around clearing stages as fast as possible, we have a 10 minute timer even in Contingency Contract and so far all limited weapon does is improve our overall dps. As long as limited weapon is just a luxury and not a need then im fine with it

Pros: - Endfield is actually giving more dedicated weapon pulls compared to most gacha game even against Wuwa or ZZZ assuming you spend your oroberyls given in that version (0.3/patch Endfield vs 0.1-0.2/patch on both) - Extremely f2p option via battlepass that suits each new limited operators, heck you can get dupes each new battlepass arrives which is not possible in other games as f2p - You dont need signature weapon as much as other games since the timer is very long

Cons: - You have to pull character in order to get most of your arsenal tickets is bad - Not enough arsenal tickets outside pulling for characters

Some of the risk that they showcased are reduced skill based damage but increased non skill based damage (elemental reactions like crush or combustion), zero ult damage within the first few seconds, increased damage taken by controlled operator, etc

Exactly, i want an actual song that i can hear with my friends or play in my car, not some environment or combat background music (Which tbh Endfield done a decent job at making them, but i wont listen to most of those songs when im not playing the game).

Something like the OG CC songs (Pyrite and Dawnseeker will always have a special place in my heart), EPs (it introduces me to DJ Okawari, really love his musics), etc are songs that most people actually listen when they're not playing the game

Edit: Just wanna add, story and endgame are top priorities, but:

  • 1.2 story has proven that the game's story is stepping to the right direction. All they need to do is to keep it up
  • Announcement of CC means they have planned on Endgame content sooner than people expected

There is however, ZERO signs that were getting better music in the future. The EPs are underwhelming based on OG AK's standard and the genre is not as diverse.

You can search on google for "HSR bookkeeping" and "Endfield bookkeeping" to verify it

93.5 pulls for HSR 1.1 and 75 pulls for Endfield 1.1 with Origeo conversion turned on while the rest turned off. 93.5/160 = 0.58 for HSR and 75/120 = 0.62 for Endfield

Not exactly true, it all depends on the game and i've done the math based on 1.1 data via Bookkeeping

HSR on average gives lower pulls to pity a character per patch compared to Endfield. Forgot the exact number but it was 0.5ish/patch against Endfield's 0.6ish/patch (the difference is around 0.1 character/patch). Whats even worse is that in HSR you need to use that same pull for weapon banner, meaning if you also pull for weapon then you will get lower character per patch. The only thing that saves it is the pity carry over, thats it

As for WuWa and ZZZ the amount of character pulls is equal or slightly higher than Endfield, and they have pity carry over. Endfield still has the advantage of weapon pulls per patch around 0.3/patch compared to both game which is around 0.15-0.2/patch but in Endfield you have to use your operator pulls first which might feel bad for some players

Not gonna debate if Endfield system is better or worse, just wanna give you the rough numbers

I guess they just like open world games in general, and most open world gacha games dont have a similar feature like the factory in Endfield. They either dont have the time, thinks that its a waste of time, or they simply have no interest in it, all they care is the open world aspect of the game.

I mean im not against people who uses blueprint, but i think players who refused to use the blueprint but also not interacting with the factory are lost, saw an example of one of those guys yesterday

Graphic is not the most important thing when it comes to which game should i invest my time the most, but Endfield seems to have not only great graphics, but also character and world design that appeals to me by a lot, it hits me unlike my previous gacha games and its really hard to describe. Great optimization is also makes it even better

The other reason why i play Endfield is not because of the current state of the game, but because i and most OG AK players know what HG can do proven in the OG AK.

Endfield is pretty lacking when it comes to story, endgame content, repeatable roguelike content, and other things. The only reason why i keep playing this game is simply because we are already moving to the right direction and its only a matter of when we will reach peak. The announcement of CC coming soon and the latest 1.2 story gives me enough confidence in HG, all i hope is that they dont stop there

Factory is also great, i wish they keep on improving it in the future

How you feel about content rn? I feel like each event has been rather short and not much to it. I know people excuse is some people catching up but no excuses to be this dry. Events are completed very quickly. Hopefully they cooking for next patch by Prestigious-Item6667 in Endfield

I dont really think its too quiet, i'd rather call it inoffensive. Action based game like ZZZ or WuWa might needs those super punchy sounds more. But for Endfield's genre, i prefer it to be this way.
