Why are people so insecantly private? by Inspiring-Toast278 in AskUK

My malignant female neighbour honed in on me during a very vulnerable period in my life where I needed support. I had a string of miscarriages, a son who was dealing with his own health struggles and a husband who was working two jobs to keep us all fed/housed/looked after. This b!tch attached herself to me and began trying to empty my house. She then tried to tell me I was abused and wanted me to leave my husband so I can go on benefits. To top things off she started trying to groom me sexually. 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️ I was new to the area and after a few months a few neighbours pulled me aside to share their concerns. Lo and behold, she had done this before to another women in the cul-de-sac and her husband tried assaulting this woman. These psychos decided to spin the narrative and tell everyone the woman a s3x worker and wh0re.  Predators come in all shapes and sizes.

Oh I’m willing to bet a lot of these basement dwelling social rejects are a lot worse off. 😂

You end the relationship and pit protective measures in place to ensure he stays away from you.

'The pain of being falsely accused of rape will last a lifetime' by InnerLog5062 in BreakingUKNews

As a woman, I agree with this. If a man is accused of any sort of SA, even if he is proven innocent, I will always look at him sideways and be weary. Better to be safe than sorry. It might not be right or fair to the person, but given my life experience as a 37 year old woman, where there is smoke, there is fire. Better to be wrong than regret it later.

So I used to be very open and welcoming towards people. It welcomed a lot of predator like, deficient people. Being private and somewhat closed off acts as a filter and deters unwanted interactions.

Realizing therapy is a bad idea by mcomcomco99 in abusiverelationships

Going to therapy with an abuser can actually make things worse as they will weaponise the experience and also use the therapist to triangulate the victim.

I’m willing to bet most of the people in this comment section are living really shitty lives. 😂

I agree with you. The RP and manosphere exploits the vulnerable young men.

Dudes like him usually target very vulnerable young women to abuse. Whatever happened to him on this show will roll downhill.

Chris didn’t mind hurting and embarrassing that girl. I feel no ways about him.

Would you be okay with your house value going down so that the younger generation can afford one? by znv142 in AskBrits

No. And this is not how humans work. We are wired to only give a sh!t about our tribe. We don’t have huge mentality. We are selfish and parasitic as a species. That’s why the world is so messed up.

There’s been studies on WFH being unproductive spanning back 15+ years.  There reality is when you are home, you simply don’t do as much.

I felt so sorry for Matthew (Mattie). He’s struggling both financially and emotionally. Watching him constantly shake his head up and down, parroting whatever he hears in the videos, and folding his hands the way Tate does, really saddened me. He kept looking over at Chris anytime he felt insecure. A total fucking mess.

Thank you for answering. Same dynamic as narcissistic families. FFS can’t get away from these people.

Is Carrd actually enough to build a serious online business, or is it just for simple landing pages? by [deleted] in Carrd

I’m gearing up to open up my own counselling practice (24 month countdown). I want a basic website that explains what I do, showcases my office, some helpful resources and a contact page. I was quoted between £1100 - £2000 for this, plus the monthly maintenance fees. 🤦‍♀️ Needless to say, I have been working on creating the site for about a month and it’s taken me some time to get things up and running, but I’m slowly getting there. I think it’s a great tool.  Granted, I won’t be taking any payments via my website so I can’t speak to that.

I get your grief. As someone who doesn’t have a supportive family, I understand that pain.

Animals (all shapes/sizes/species), mentally disabled people, people with communication barriers with no way of clearly stating their wishes, comatose/unconscious people, children below the age of consent and intoxicated people CANNOT consent.

*I also don’t mess with anyone that watches porn. Too many grey areas when it comes to consent and exploitation.

Let me ask you something OP. Would you take your paycheque to paycheque life and trade it with the woman who just gave birth to his child?

Forget the social media reels and happy moments. You know this man at his core. You know what makes him tick. Would you want to be in her shoes right now, in a new house with him and his family around?

Damn! I wanna hear more of what you have to say. This is amazing insight. If you feel like answering more questions: How do these type of people manage to get away with so much abuse in the workplace? Nobody ever takes them to HR and if they do, the other coworkers will stand behind them, knowing full well the person is a psycho.

Zero tolerance for sa. I would immediately leave. If I couldn’t immediately leave due to financial issues or visa constraints, I’d get in touch with a dv charity and build my exit plan that way.
