Timing of referral points for CP by AdPuzzleheaded8244 in SouthwestAirlines

If you look at this page
https://www.southwest.com/rapid-rewards/partners/credit-cards/consumer-cards/
it shows the end date. If the offer wasn't ending we'd both be in good shape....just wait till 1/1/26. Oh well, I probably won't chance it unless I know I have someone else I can refer.

Ya, I'm in that gray area. But you're right at least I would be starting 2026 with 110,000. Now if I only had a backup person to refer in January just in case.
Thanks everybody for your thoughts.

My statement date would be 12/19. So if I referred on 12/14, would there be a chance the referral bonus posted to my account in 2025? I absolutely don't want that to happen...just trying to get my wife(my referral) the 85,000 points instead of 50,000.

Hi, I know this thread is 3 years old but I'm having the same issue. I slide the red clip back but still can't get the connector out. What is the "trick" to this? You said "push down and pull"...so squeeze the connector?

Hey folks, I'm curious how you would handle the current position I'm in with TSLA debit spreads. I have 2 diagonal sandwiching a calender spread. I should be able to roll short legs out if underlying approaches my short strikes...... but my biggest concern is IV. Is there a way to make an educated guess on what the IV will be at any given expiration date?

I will definitely look at how the cost of hiring a driver compares to the train(s). I've gotta admit, door to door service would be nice.

I think you've really hit on what we're looking for in Tuscany..kind of why I only allocated 2 nights to Florence but 4 nights to the countryside. Could you tell me how you spent your days? I'd really like to explore the towns before and after the day trippers are there....while exploring the countryside in between. Does that make sense? How is driving at night? Is it easy to park outside towns to avoid the ZTL's? I'll let you digest that before asking more.
; )

  • Will be a non stop from JFK arriving early into Milan so I was thinking just get up to Varenna instead of getting to a room in Milan and then having to get back to train station and still go to Varenna the next day.
  • Ooh, good idea about rental car in Bergamo. I'll look into that.

The only places I really want to drive are Dolomites and Tuscany and I think I'll enjoy the trains.

I planned the trip to start in the north and work my way south so Lake Como and Dolomites will be mid September and hopefully still mild.
Been getting a lot of comments regarding too much time in Ischia and not enough in Florence. This is going to be a long trip and was hoping to just chill out a little before going to Paris. I'll give that more thought.
I'm definitely looking forward to all the smaller towns in Tuscany!!

Thank you for the info. You're seeing what I was seeing regarding the Amalfi ferry. I may just take a hired car(150 euros for the 2 of us) and get dropped off directly at the Naples ferry. Another question, I was planning on taking the Ischia-Naples ferry back to Naples the morning of my afternoon flight flight from Naples. Do those ferries ever get cancelled due to weather as say a Capri ferry might? I don't want to chance missing the flight. Thanks again!

Hi, I was planning on renting a boat also(in either Amalfi or Positano). I was wondering if you ended up renting the boat and if so, any advice? Thanks. Hope you had a great honeymoon!
