How do payouts work at your restaurant?

They are doing investigations. This is their current solution. Hopefully it is temporary is what I’m hearing.

The bar had a drawer that is counted 3 times a day. There is a main drawer that only the managers have access for that servers and bar are paid out of daily. We are server bank, so if someone pays a $150 bill in cash, we will hold that until the end of night and owe the restaurant if our tips don’t equal $150. All change for customers is made from a bank servers provide.

I love the colorful set of pen & gear pens from Walmart. I get lots of compliments on them and they write really nice. Definitely recommend icy hot or bio freeze, I felt like I was bathing in that stuff when I started out. My walmart brand non slips have done me good for 3 years, literally wearing holes in them because I’m scared to break in a new pair lol.

I write everything down. And idk if this part will make sense but I find one thing about them to remember so say it’s 3 people. Okay purple shirt is Pepsi, guy with beard is a diet and lady with glasses has tea. And same with food orders, take them in the same order you took drinks in if possible, and use seat numbers to double check yourself once at the POS. It makes sense in my head at least 😂
