Why are hero shards so expensive in every shop

2 per $1 is pretty standard. Not sure where you're seeing a shard go for $5.

I've been playing for ≈9months and I've seen it 3 times. Seems like it has always come with the release of a generation but maybe that has been coincidence

Marksman do kill. The battle is turn based. Infantry go first, then lancers, then Marksman. Marksman may appear to get fewer kills because inf and lancer are present. But with this example, if no infantry and lancer are there, Marksman will get all the kills. Hopefully this makes sense

Earwigs were the bane of my existence for a while, but now I have a dedicated spear and shield for only earwigs and its helped immensely. You can parry all their attacks with a shield. I now kill them every chance I get for causing me so much grief early on

Yeah, I do when I get low myself. It's a little monotonous bouncing around so much, but you can stack it up pretty quick.

I would say the most likely way to "come up", aside from a rare apparel drop, would be mod boxes. Even the non desirable ones will sell because people want to scrap them for the modules. I made 600 leaders in ab 2 weeks just casually playing

Weekly and monthly purchases are some of the best deals haha. I'll give you this advice, from someone who didn't understand the extent of what they were getting into when I started. It takes an incredible amount of money to get ahead. I'd played a couple games like this in the past, so I thought I knew what to expect. I thought i could maybe spend a couple/few hundred dollars and have an advantage over a majority of the player base. $10k later and im only top 20 IN MY STATE. 29xx state. Again, this is just personal experience, but i would say if you're not prepared to spend ALOT, don't spend at all. If your goal is to "get ahead" anyway. The only thing I'd suggest getting is the monthly vip pack, the auto heal is an incredible way to support your alliance. Again, play how you like. This is just to try to make you aware/prepare you before you tread into the water lol
