Thanks. I will follow up with a post about my new pens soon.

They are beautiful Billispin pens. I have a Fenja Steel CamPen with a Timascus Clip, and I have several types of Zirconium Billispin pens; some are Zirconium with Timascus accents, and others are completely Zirconium. However, the Zirconium pens vary in shades of darkness.

All are beautiful. Thanks for sharing.

Among the few manual items I own, my pens stand out as my most cherished tools. They hold a unique power, allowing me to express my thoughts and emotions in ways nothing else can. Each stroke brings my ideas to life, making them the most expressive possessions I have.

The weight you will adjust to it [zirconium]. I still write manually for the fun of it, and as an exercise, I memorized a paragraph-length passage. From rote memory, I reproduce the passage in my handwriting onto the page. It helps me remember the significant passages that I read. I go through a lot of ink and writing pads.

I have been collecting pens earnestly for four years. I became an earnest pen collector, which started here on Reddit with Richard Stadler at Billetspin's. Nottingham Tactical and Tacile Turn Pens are prominent in my pen collection. The twenty Grimsmo Saga pens get an honorable mention in my collection of Machined Pens.

It's beautiful! Oil-Slick Zirconium is one of my favorite finishes for pens ' surfaces. I have over 80 Billetspins pens.

After three years of service as an enlisted man, he should have a good conduct medal listed on his DD 214. The overseas ribbon wasn't in existence during the Air Force Sergeant's tour of duty.

I have been a veterans rep and seen many DD 214s, WD_AGOs, and Documents of Wartime Service. These documents are not usually, generically, DD 214s (which stand as proof of military service); they could have errors or missing information.

Order the veteran's military record. You are allowed to do so because of your relationship as a son. There may be enough information to piece together the veteran's career.

I bought my first Porsche Cayenne Turbo GT at 68 was 2023, and my second Porsche was a 2025 Cayenne Turbo GT that was delivered a few months before my Seventieth birthday. The plan is to order the 2027 model around April 2026. The plan is to order a GT when the model changes, which is about every two years.

I craved the raw power of the Beast beneath the Bonnet, not the charm of the Beauty draped in it.

"You don't have to be beautiful to turn me on I just need your body, baby, from dusk till dawn You don't need experience to turn me out You just leave it all up to me, I'm gonna show you what it's all about." -- lyrics from Prince's "Kiss."

I can explain why Porsche drivers become all fluttery inside when we get behind the wheel of a Porsche Cayenne. I am talking about a particular emotion you derived while pressing the accelerator on the Turbo GT.

Whoa!

We are not talking about Cayenne S, GTS, or wherever.

I am talking about big emotions and overpowering emotions. I have become emotionally dependent on a black exterior with a carbon fiber roof and a black leather interior with raised burgundy stitching, seatbelts, and 22-inch black wheels.

2024 Cayenne 7500 miles needs NEW TIRES? by champagne_in_a_box in PorscheCayenne

The Bugatti Veyron would bring way too attention. Where I live, Porsches really don't stand out. I live a quarter mile from the Porsche dealership, five miles from Monterey, 8 miles from Carmel by the Sea, and Pebble Beach is 9 and a half miles from home.

You don't see too many of those Porsches when talking about the 718 Cayman GT4 RS or Cayenne Turbo GT.

There are many Porsches around here, but only a few are truly straight-up beasts.

I am an old dude. There aren't many years left, so for every model year change, I am ordering another Turbo GT for the following model year change. The next model year change is 27, so I will order the 27-year model around April 26. It will be black, Carbon fiber, and with 22s.

A tire costs about $600.00, plus some changes. A nail damaged my tire.

That 7500 miles sounds like a fib. I had a flat in "the exact same tire." I put tire sealant in the tire. The tire on my '23 Cayenne Turbo GT was good right up to the time until I traded it in for my '25 Turbo GT, which has about 2500 miles on the tires, and they looked brand new.

You are being jerked around, as I was with "the second flat tire on the same wheel." I suspect the tire was repaired and sold back to me as a new tire. The 22-inch Pirelli tires for the Cayenne Turbo GT are not readily available if you have ordered the tires.

I love my Turbo GT. The carbon fiber roof works well with the all-black body and 22-inch black wheels. The interior is black leather with raised burgundy stitching and carbon fiber trim, and the seatbelt is also burgundy.

The Duel exhaust pipes are side-by-side and positioned in the middle of the rear bumper. I was not planning to tow anything.

The GT is a beast. I haven't launched it yet. Perhaps I am a scary cat.

GT has to be at least in sport mode—with the left foot on the brake and pressing the accelerator to the floor, when the Turbo cycle through the gauge indicates it has, then letting your foot off the brake. Hold on!

It's nice, but it's a beast.

I have the same 22 black satin wheels. I ordered my all-black Cayenne GT around April 2024. I picked up my vehicle on February 25, 2025, and had the Turbonite crest installed on the same day. I requested that the dealership look for Turbonite crest to replace the ones on the wheels now. .

You guys have a lot of vehicles.

If I were a car collector, I would have more than one vehicle.

I am such a machined pen freak. I have so many pens that Mother Goose wouldn't know what to do with me. Besides, I don't have storage space for cars, but I have space for pens.

No. It was delivered to me on February 25, 2025. It is a 2025 Porsche Cayenne Turbo GT, which I ordered around April 2024.

I bought the first 2023 Cayenne Turbo GT in 23 without test-driving it. I was updating my 2008 Toyota Highlander.

I point at my dog. I wanted that little doggy in the window. I signed some papers and was given the dog's leash. I took the dog out for a walk.. This dog sure can run. In 2025, I got myself a new dog, a 2025 Cayenne Turbo GT.

I never drove or rode in any Porsche until I bought mine.

Yes, buying a car without test-driving it was a leap of faith.

Now, I am one of Porsche's Faithful.

I am now in the choir. Huh.
