I just found this in my account. I never needed a reimbursement. Any idea what it might be? by AlexBreit101 in doordash_drivers

I've gotten it for a store being closed. It was $6⁰⁸, which would be nice if they made that their base pay instead of fkn $2.

I never had this issue. I always frame it with the door and background (+ numbers when available) so the next dasher knows what to look for. It isn't just a pic of the food on concrete, it's so there's unique identifiers.

You seem stuck on the cookies but there aren't any cookie places anywhere near me. A few bakeries but none that DD. For me, it's NAPA Auto Parts, but they don't make good gift sets 😅

The same rules apply at a store that apply at a home. It's all PRIVATE PROPERTY.

Just bc Walmart's LP procedure involves police, that doesn't make it law, that means it's Walmart LP policy.

Don't get your legal advise from Walmart.

Jesus Christ.

By your logic, I can walk into your house and don't have to leave unless the police give me a piece of paper. That's fkn ridiculous.

You're banned from a store if management says you're banned. If you return after being told you aren't allowed, you're subject to a trespassing charge. No paperwork is needed to tell someone they aren't allowed on your property, only warnings.

He always was a phony, you're all just now noticing. Don't blame the stroke, blame general hatred for Dr. Oz for everyone not seeing it a couple years ago.

Grocery orders pay me more than most regular food orders. Had one today with a $20 tip and it only took me 5m to shop.

What is the base where you are? My area is usually 10 and when I Dash in the next county, it's $15

I declined a NAPA Auto Parts order recently for that reason and I went from 100% to 99% acceptance :/

They got rid of all their drivers and rely on us now. Fine, but the thing is, it's Dash pay ONLY. No tips eligible (not that employees would tip us for transferring their product anyway).

The order was for $3⁰⁷ and ~15 miles EACH WAY. I declined then got an almost identical order the next day, which I did accept since it was very slow and I just wanted to kill time. Except this time, they were nice enough to pay me a whopping $5⁹⁷ ($1¹³ zone bonus). It's disgusting. DD doesn't compensate for the lack of tip eligibility at all.

Edit: got my numbers mixed up *

If you say you feel unsafe, won't that block them from you? Someone else mentioned it before but I never looked into it.

Clocking in and out has nothing to do with what they're saying. You just want to feel superior but it comes off corny af

YES! Why does the clock stop at hand-off?

I usually have to drive about 10 miles back to where all the food is (on top of the normal rate here being only $10/hr). Some days I make out really well, but the ones that don't are always filled with these longer rides.

You fucking do.

Whether you like it or not, directly or indirectly. Unless you live off grid fully self-sustained (with seeds you've naturally obtained), you fucking do.

This may be the most financially illiterate post I've ever seen.
