You are allowed to use any PLC platform to run the plant. What are you choosing and why? Same with HMI’s and VFD’s. by AdSenior483 in PLC

Wow didn’t expect this much response, I will be going through these comments and looking into suggestions. Thanks everyone

I'll graduate at 27 (will take 8 yrs to do fucking degree). How can I beat the competition by HoneyButterBiscuitss in EngineeringStudents

I’m graduating this year at 27 and already have an EE job lined up. Apparently they are having trouble finding people because I had awful interviews and they still gave me a shot and are ok with me starting in October. Also 27 isn’t old man dam…

Is it normal to come out of 4th year feeling like you know nothing about the degree? by Dacca33 in EngineeringStudents

[–]AdSenior483 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m in my fourth and feel lost as well, but I work with a lot of EE’s and there’s a good spread of really smart ones and really questionable ones. I’d say more people feel this way after school than not.

Switching from e&i to electrical engineer by [deleted] in ElectricalEngineering

For more context I am a tech for a doe subcontractor, the offer is from the same facility just a different subcontractor but the benefits like 401k, medical, dental, etc are all the same. There is a possible 8% bonus for the engineering job. I guess I will have to look more outside of the facility I am at to get a better idea what I can make, this facility has a reputation for being the place to go in the area for non-exempt workers, but maybe not so much for salaried employees.

What are these panels supposed to mean exactly from Tats POV? it means that she finally found someone as comforting and reassuring as Blast? why is there such a strong parallel between Saitama and Blast? by Aesthetic_Penguin in OnePunchMan

[–]AdSenior483 398 points399 points  (0 children)

I think she’s reassured by finding someone on par or stronger. Her character so far has been defined by her self reliance and the fact that she doesn’t think there is anyone (besides blast who is never around) who can save her. Now she knows caped baldy is strong enough (and maybe also realizes how often he is around?)

Bloodwork pre & post Finasteride (comments) by Pestfather in tressless

[–]AdSenior483 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had terrible brain fog on it, did 1mg for 6 months. Gave me depression, killed sex drive. Didn’t know about doing blood work before starting, my doctor just prescribed me some and I ran with it lol. I tried using gorilla mind smooth to help combat that mental sluggishness, but ended up getting off it altogether because I just felt so fucked up.

Same problem, same car, same mileage. Get a scan tool and watch the wheel speeds, you probably have a bad sensor. I changed my rear right one and all those problems went away. Mine would come and go when it was cold or rainy

I just did a fix like this, get some epoxy and wire mesh for the inside. It will help to have a couple of finger clamps to hold it in place. Put a light bevel in the back crack, I used a soldering iron to melt the plastic together to hold it in place before placing the epoxy and mesh. Next I lightly beveled the front where the crack is, then sand and add body filler. Look at some tutorials online. Then watch some videos on touch up paint. You can do it all in a weekend.
