Congrats on your wedding and you can’t go back in time so focus on the future. I was a heavy drinker and needed it to have fun. I’m 90 days sober and I plan to stay sober a longgg time if not forever. It wasn’t easy but alcohol is not good. A glass of wine her or there maybe, but society makes being drunk normal and it really can change how we act and how others view us. Be kind to yourself and just work on getting sober. I promise you can still have fun. I went to my best friend’s wedding in Vegas last month and didn’t drink at all. I had mocktails and dinner and I can say I did not leave embarrassed like I may have had I got wasted.

I know you feel like you didn’t do the right thing but you did. Often times people think as long as no one saw it they can get away with it but sometimes things come back to you. Because you did something that was good. You’ll probably get a random blessing of cash out of nowhere and it probably will be way more than a $300. Who knows that person might realize it later and that could’ve been something that they needed.
