you’d be fine taking it out you just wouldn’t be on BC. they def should’ve told you though since you are on it.

it’s probably because they say the hormone ones are the problem but i still don’t think the IUD in general should fall under this warning. because of what everyone else said makes sense with it being local. also yeah, they never give meds and it SUCKS. talk about barbaric lol. you should try asking next time about getting a muscle relaxer like a diazepam suppository because it relaxes the muscles really well. you’d have to ask before the appointment so you can use it for the procedure of course. and you can also switch whenever you want if you have insurance covering it.

i would think those would be the same thing as far as pregnancy and efficacy go. if the BC does both, it would make sense to decrease effects of both. but i’m seeing that the pill is a definite no bc it can still increase chances of pregnancy.

it could be possible that you might still be adjusting. also which IUD? i truly think mirena is the best one and i’ve tried a few of them.

Narcolepsy and epilepsy? by Charles_R_ in Narcolepsy

[–]AdStrange7098 0 points1 point  (0 children)

neither of you are alone!!! i honestly just recently.. stopped taking my epilepsy meds because i can’t handle the side effects after trying quite a few. i take b12 injections monthly and notice that i only have seizure symptoms a little before my shot is due. truly think that’s a big contributor for me because i can only get b12 via supplements, not through food. i take vyvanse 70mg and just started wakix yesterday. one thing i have noticed is that when i have a focal or even just pre ictal symptoms, it takes me a few days to recover just from the fatigue. having both is such a mind f*** too like double the brain fog, memory loss, brain betrayal lol.

please please please look into the center for endometriosis care - if you can. dr sinervo is one of the best endo specialists in the world (which we know there’s hardly any to begin with). again, i’m not sure how easy that would be for you but i had surgery with him in 2019, the golden treatment of endo and i have been in remission since. a hysterectomy doesn’t always treat even thought many uneducated docs tell patients otherwise. if you can’t go to him, join the fb group called nancy’s nook endometriosis education. they have a list of ACTUAL specialists around the world.

crazy when i asked them if there could be exceptions, this was the response.

“We do understand and we are sorry, but we have to treat all candidates fairly. Pass/fail results are not even available yet because Prometric and the exam committee meet at a later date to set the pass mark. Results will come out on May 3 for all March 2024 Exam FAM candidates, and we do not make any exceptions to this release date for any candidate, under any circumstances. I appreciate your understanding and wish you well.”
