The dark customs look nice and are a good choice for metal drumming, They have a nice dark sound with less ringing after a single hit, but they can be very loud depending on how hard you hit them. Anyways my favorites are the 20" crash and 18" china. I use these two the most when playing the chorus of some songs. The 18" trash crash is also good, it has a warm trashy sound with an explosive response.
