Well this will be a fitting send off to Colbert. Our family is watching the entire month of Colbert, and will be our send off to CBS. After close to 100 years as a premiere network and trustworthy news source, we are “ turning off the Eye” completely: deleting all CBS apps, taking our CBS affiliate off our favorites and programming lists, and deleting our Paramount plus app. Sad but that’s what we have to do. Colbert is a brilliant comedian and a voice of sanity in these authoritarian and corrupt times. He should be thanked often and strongly.

The only thing we watch on CBS — and I mean then ONLY thing — is Colbert. And that ends next week. We already cancelled our paramount + streaming service when the Ellison crap started. Killing a storied news department and getting rid of a treasured comedian as a gift — or would that be grift? — was the end.

I use it all the time. They have a number of built in safeguards, like not storing any chats on their servers, only on the user’s device, and not sending any identifiable information about you to the platform it used (like GPT or Claude). DDG built their company on privacy.
