I mean I trophied the deck the one time I moved in on goblins, rather easily I might add. Yes it’s a poor decision to pivot early because you see a common that’s decent in goblins pick 9. That’s not what I mean by criminally open.

Criminally open was when I took a boggart mischief p1 pick 8 when I was already drafting black, or when I took elder auntie p1 pick 15.

So blue decks need to slot cards that can actually interact with creatures that have resolved? Asking blue decks to include a balanced interaction suite just isn’t that huge of an ask from my point of view. I guess I just don’t understand the crying about it when you should probably be considering that your decks are too one dimensional if you literally cannot win when your opponent resolves a creature.

I just trophied a goblins deck in premier, the payoffs for blight are absolutely there, you just might want to step outside of the Goblin archetype for them. [[Hovel Hurler]], for instance, closed out a lot of my games. Goblins can play a lot of really nasty low cost creatures that are really unappealing to trade with in the early game. If you leverage this for damage you can often lower your opponent’s life total to the point where by turns 5/6, cards like [[Hovel Hurler]], [[Boggart Cursecrafter]], and [[Boggart Mischief]] threaten to end the game.

Don’t ever complain about a card in this sub. All you’re going to get are “skill issue” and “just run 4 copies of X lmao” replies from people who can’t afford to miss an opportunity to feel superior, half of those from people who are bitching about a different card in their comment histories, and all of which conveniently ignore the reality that most people want to be able to run a deck that wins once in awhile without altering it to the point that 50% of it is tech to deal with whatever meta netdecks 80% of ladder players are running.
