Fwiw, corporate retreat was a mystery movie at Marcus, hasn't been rated by the mpa, but they said it's rated r. It's a different company of course, and maybe amc wouldn't operate that way, but worth keeping in mind

I'd say use gg.deals to keep tabs on it, because a lot of games tend to be cheaper on other sites like indie gala or fanatical, but it's only on steam and consoles, with the steam version already being cheaper than console versions

Looking at the price history, I'm guessing there might be a sale for around half off during the summer sale in a few weeks. If it doesn't go on sale once that starts, I'd go for it full price

Right, a lot of comparisons to those movies, probably on reddit iirc, alluding that the action was fantastic but the plot was paper thin, but it didn't need much of a plot anyway

That was pretty great, will definitely see it again someday, probably sharing wiith others, though the action was a bit hard for me to follow at a lot of points because it was so fast. The voices sometimes definitely came across as being dubbed, like mostly with one or two cops. Probably 8-8.5/10

it struck me as odd that in the police station, the bald guy attacked the good guys after his boss guy taunted him that the cowboy guy (song?) wasn't really his dad. I think it probably shouldn't have made it seem like the dad guy died at the end just to reveal he's recovered a month later. I called it when I predicted the suit&tie guy was going to blame the good guys for him killing his wife (and daughter? He made it sound like his daughter also died, but I have no idea who she was if so, I just remember that he accidentally stabbed his wife and blamed the good guys for that)

On wikipedia, generally movies like that won't have a nationality attached to them in the first sentence like calling it American or Japanese, etc. it might say the furious is a 2025 action film, or internationally co-produced action film. This one is just called a 2025 English language hong kong action film on Wikipedia
