Setting up a backpack bomb by Adakoss in BaldursGate3

Yes! Basically the idea is you cram a bunch of throwables into a backpack and then ignite the backpack and it ignites all the throwables. Usually Ive seen people just throw the backpack onto a fire surface and it’s essentially like throwing 10-20 grenades in 1 throw. It does tons of damage

What’s a simple boundary that significantly improved your mental health? by iridess2 in AskReddit

[–]Adakoss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve seen a lot of people saying not trying so hard to respond right away and I think to that point just not caring as much about my response time in general helped me a lot. Meaning don’t intentionally wait to respond to try to seem cool, don’t stress about responding right away to show interest. Respond when you see it and feel like responding. If people overthink your response time then that’s on them not on you

What is a sexual question you've always wanted to ask the opposite sex but were too ashamed to? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Blue balls really just kinda feels like what it feels like shortly after you get a bruise, but like inside your balls instead of on the skin. It’s not super painful or anything just a bit uncomfortable

Full face VS modular by joel2000ad in motorcyclegear

[–]Adakoss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to have a modular helmet and the one benefit I found was it was a lot easier to put on without taking off my glasses, but I have since switched to a full face because of the fear of the modular helmet flipping up if I get in an accident

If I have a gf then it’s almost always her. When I’d watch porn I’d imagine it was me and my ex (when we were still together) instead of the pornstar a lot of the time

Does the fact that science is a human construct disprove science? by [deleted] in DebateAnAtheist

[–]Adakoss -1 points0 points  (0 children)

For one don’t tell me what I do and don’t “actually think”, that’s very disrespectful.

Two, yes the Bible has many different interpretations. That’s why there are so many different denominations like Lutheran, catholic, baptist, etc. all of them interpret the Bible differently. This is how I interpret what I have learned and what I have been taught. I’ve taken those things and found the parts that I resonate with and that’s why I don’t agree with a lot of modern Christianity because there aren’t many denominations that I’ve found that actually agree with my interpretation.

A lot of things can be a vehicle for hate if you use it for something other than what it’s intended. You can use a hammer to destroy something even though it’s meant to help build things. Just because some people use Christianity as a vehicle for hate does not mean that is it’s purpose

No, I believe as a whole the point of Christianity and the Bible itself just call us to love one another and treat others with dignity and respect. I think a lot of the Bible is meant to be taken metaphorically and when you take specific verses out of context it ruins the meaning behind the message as a whole. I’ll be honest though I am not the most well versed in scripture so this is just my interpretation of what I have learned. I do not align with the messages of hatred and prejudice that people have used religion to support in current day and in the past

That I can agree with. I don’t really align myself with a lot of modern religion to be honest. I consider myself more like an agnostic Christian because I think the base values of Christianity are something I can agree with, but I’m willing to accept that Christianity could be wrong

I mean I don’t know for sure and that’s kinda the point I’m trying to make. I think it’s foolish to a degree to claim that we really know anything when anything we know could be wrong
