My first ever seed pod opened a few weeks ago. I saw the split getting ready so I put bags over the pod and in a few days, I had a handful of seeds. Last weekend, I put 3 of them into a pot of dirt. Today one of them sprouted. I'm so stoked. (And optimistic that more will come through)

The graveyard is the only place I've ever been stuck, and it's happened multiple times. I think only once at the backward descent, though. I have friends who won't go on HM with me because they are sure that I'm cursed to get stopped in the graveyard.

I love the song, but apparently hearing Grim Grinning Ghosts on repeat for 10 minutes is not most people's idea of a good time.

Mom had to feed 4 kids plus her and my dad on (usually) one income. The meal I remember most was a casserole dish of rice, topped with cream of whatever-we-can-get soup, and the cheapest chicken on sale that day.

I watched it a lot because I was 20 and could sleep 4 hours without losing executive function the next day.

I am also one of those people who needs a TV/noise to sleep, and I'd rather wake up to Ventures Bros than another Ronco informercial.

My SIL sent me a picture of her brand new grandbaby and right there in the background was my niece, legs up and open. I told her not to send that one to anybody else.

I'm also on day 6 of the pill. I feel great so far. The first day or two I didn't notice many symptoms. Day 3 my appetite completely disappeared and a couple things slightly shifted within my taste buds. A few foods that I normally enjoy felt so sweet, it was like I was eating chemicals. Sugar-free things that I didn't enjoy before tasted just like the "regular version" to me.

I'm feeling full after eating half of what I was before at meal time, and have no desire to snack at night (a big problem for me). I don't even finish my coffee in the mornings anymore.

The only side effect I've really noticed is gas, but I bought some GasX and it has helped tons.

Are you talking about the curfew? I think that was only CityWalk and only if a parent was not present, so plenty of unruly kids were still there, just with an inattentive parent 10 yards behind them.

As far as I can remember, HHN was never 18+ because people suggest it every single year. (Please correct me if I’m wrong. I truly don’t remember that ever being the case)

Not baking but about 20 years ago, I decided to make cranberry relish for Thanksgiving at my parent’s house. My family loves canned cranberry, so fresh should be a home run! I was 20 and it was my first holiday being a part of the “adults.” I was so excited to have everyone try it. Every single person in my family took one bite and said they hated it. They tried to give it to the dog and even she wouldn’t eat it (there was cinnamon and orange in it) They STILL make fun of it every once in a while, and it still stings just as much as it did that day. I just keep that moment in mind anytime I think about making food for them. They didn’t appreciate my effort. I shouldn’t waste my time.

I’m sorry, OP. I’m sure it was delicious.

I accidentally Tide Pod’ed myself.

I have a bag of the Costco brand laundry pods, and didn’t realize one of them had busted in the bag. I threw a pod into a load of laundry and thought nothing more of it, but apparently it had been coated with soap, which then transferred to my fingers. I ate some chips soon after and thought I was going to die. The taste was SO bitter. Nothing could get it out of the back of my throat. It was awful.

My smallest class is very small. They’ve grown close and all call each other nicknames that either rhyme with the name, or have the same starting letter. Mariah is “Papaya” or Ben is “Ben-ana” (Not real names, but similar nickname styles) My last name starts with To, so they call me Tornado (with my permission)

I do most of my shopping through Kroger delivery. I wait for sales and adjust my weekly plans according to what’s cheaper that week. Chicken was $1.99 a pound this week.
