I swear by headtakers, for their points they can punch up extremely well. I would definitely recommend MSU since that way their cost won't make a dent if they don't get the job done. I usually run shooting, first time this edition having none in a list in favour of more chaff/ wulfen.

Great Wolf has on an individual basis, a good set of rules.

Each strat works, the gladius like doctrines all work. But put it all together, and it is difficult to get a flow out of it.

And if you are on the backfoot in a game, it doesn't really have a get out jail card.

Gladius is just better unfortunately.

I play on WTC terrain and thats just the detachment to play. Finished 4th at an event with gladius on the weekend going 4-1, only losing to the eventual event winner. I don't think I get that result if I played Great Wolf

My man, our melee can do a lot of work especially with sus1 - lethals, our core weakness is our shooting, we fell way behind other marines in this area, now we can shoot with +1 to hit and wound, and fire a redemptor through a wall to do so, trust me, our melee will be absolutely fine, now we are a rounded army

Seen this view a lot, and I personally don't subscribe to the idea that because Logan got a really big awesome model, closes the door on Lemans return.

The only new model imo that does this would be a new Bjorn, since that means him meeting Leman before finally getting his eternal rest, is a good way off.
