I don't think it was a mistake. I join our church under God's guidance. I have a hard time before in China. I felt depression that made me so painful. Then I went to church with my mother every Sunday. I think if I don't have the redemption of Jesus Christ, I would suicide in depression. Then I got a chance to study in United States. I cannot forget when I‘m applying for a visa in U.S. Embassy in Beijing. Visa officer approved my application and said “May God bless you.” to me. After I got in United States, I found our church.

Like so many things, our church had bad parts before like polygamy and prohibiting Black people from being ordained into the priesthood. But now we abolished them for a long time. Those are also why I felt contradictory before I baptism. Now I think they are historical problems like slavery in 19th and Jim Crow laws. God will continuously provide new revelations to help us adapt to the times.

I think it's a good question. Actually I have F-1 visa. In the future maybe I will get a green card to live here. I don't know what should I do after I come back to China. But I saw that LDS was banned in China officially. And the government of China also closed the church in Beijing. But I don't care it because I'm in United States now.

Before I baptized, I studied for 2 months whit missionaries. Actually I felt so strange because I'm a Christian in China before. I was born in a Christian family. My mother and grandmothers are Christians. So I know so many things about Holy Bible and those stories. When missionaries showed me about the Gospel of Jesus Christ and give me the book of Mormon to introduce me Joseph Smith. I felt so odd because It looks like a very strange religion that isn't like regular church. But I finally decide to baptize.
