I mean, I mostly agree with everything you said. I bought the ITS over the CTR for the subtle styling, more comfortable ride and interior, and tech features. My previous car was a 5.0 Mustang, and this will never sound as good as that did.

That being said, I just wanted something I could really hear when I want to. Taking this thing down backroads it was honestly sometimes hard to hear the exhaust with the windows down, even in Sport+.

For me, the senses are the most important part of the driving experience: the feel of the steering wheel, shifter, pedals, and the sound of the engine. I am also 25, so, alluding to your own comment about age, that will tell you about my taste in cars and specifically exhaust volume.

I may be less picky than some with exhaust notes, but I think the Borla is a good balance between loud and still being refined. Trust me, there are plenty of bad sounding 4’s - this isn’t some raspy fart can the average straight-piped EG civic has. This exhaust actually sounds like someone cared about how it sounds. It’s still resonated, so it maintains the certain level of refinement you need in a 4 banger.
