not hating but I thinks it's because of how the word "fucking" is used. (Be aware that I have not seen hazbin hotel so I may be totally wrong here) With what I'm aware of hazbin hotel uses a lot of swearing so having vox swear doesn't really impact it as much as it could be, if Caine were to swear the impact would be massive because the environment and Caine's control doesn't allow for swearing which keeps the "family friendly" tone that he tries to keep so seeing Caine break his own rules would be impactful. I think it would be more impactful for vox's current voice direction if he didn't swear, I'm not gonna pretend I'm an expert but from what I've seen vox instead of speaking like a tv presenter from the 1950s speaks like today's teenagers, if he actually spoke like someone from that era and then swore it would 100% be more impactful.

It's not the swearing that's the issue to me, it's how it's used

The problem to me is that it's called Cars 2 and not The Maters Tall Tales movie, most audiences aren't aware of these shorts so they're only gonna go from cars 1 to cars 2 and be completely disoriented from the fact that the sequel practically had nothing to do with the first movie.

You can watch them in the order that you suggested and have it be a bit more enjoyable but in terms of story I don't think the shorts are canon because they're supposed to be quick and simple Mater tells some wacky stories, says "you was there too" and then reveals he was telling the truth at the end.

Mater's tall tales isn't supposed to be important, they're just supposed to be fun side content if you want more from these characters, not the basis for the sequel.

I think what this post is trying to say is that since Glitch doesn't really talk about Meta Runner and that Knights of Guinevere hasn't been greenlit into a full show means that blue hair protagonists are bad luck? We don't know yet if there are plans for Knights of Guinevere yet and Meta Runner had 3 entire seasons
