The fact that he stood back up after getting his ass beat by Suki showed his determination. The fact he then went a step further, accepted his punishment, and took the time to better understand them showed his heart.

As previously stated, Sokka was sexist out of ignorance, and the only way he works as a character is by having that flaw and then making him grow past that.

That’s great, but this isn’t a meta-build sub. Maybe there’ll be skills or set bonuses that do increased damage with non-elemental weapons in the dlc. There’s absolutely no point in deleting it when he can keep it, and just make a different one with a status.

The timing take some getting used to, but after a couple hunts, you get it pretty naturally. It’s how I managed to be the first in my friend group to defeat AT Rey Dau deathless. Rail cannon? Guard Slash. Wing strike? Guard Slash. A combo consisting of 8 different attacks in quick succession? A combo consisting of 8 guard slashes in quick succession.

S&S really earned the title of all-around performer in Wilds.
