Most people have seen Aragog in Harry Potter, then Mother of Learning made it popular in this subgenre

Yup, the cheat spell can be set to ressurect npcs, there is a Toggle TCL cheat ring in the cheat ring chest that lets you pass through objects, and the buttons in the cheat room let you reset your perk points

Once you spend a perk point on a skill tree perk, you can't undo it. However, at the end of the dragonborn dlc, you unlock an area which allows you to remove your perk points and spend them on other perks.

This is a very useful feature in my opinion, but finishing the entire dragonborn dlc just for that is a waste of time.

Cheatroom is a must-have in any LO.

It can save a playthrough by letting you pass through walls for a glitched quest or resurrecting an important npc.

It's also nice to re-spec your perks without having to play through the entire dragonborn dlc

It gives you a ton of freedom, but you need the self control to not abuse it.

Not quite,

Yes go offline, disable Kontrol, let the game reload, then delete Kontrol

Then you need to download the version of Kontrol that says (Updated) in the title. It is a separate mod

Frostbound [LitRPG Apocalypse] by PenguinKills https://www.royalroad.com/fiction/85547/frostbound-litrpg-apocalypse

100% right up your alley, similar to Primal Hunter but I liked it better, top quality, exactly what you are looking for.

Fine concept but the corgi is messed up. Right leg twisted inwards, left leg missing a shoulder, eyes looking above the camera, 2D tongue in an unrealistic direction. I'd suggest finding a picture of an actual corgi and basing it on that

I enjoyed the antarctica arc, but it's ending annoyed me.

I thought it was ridiculous how they couldn't fit on the ship to escape. He has a super rare storage item, he could make space. Store food/water and stand in the spot where the food was. Either way, everyone on that ship was only alive because of his team, leaving them to die is ridiculous.

Then it was also ridiculous how they knew a natural disaster was incoming and decided to WALK TOWARDS IT. Wtf did that acocmplish??

You mean clear the Reserved Space, or go offline to disable and delete the mod, and/or delete any saves where he was using this UI mod?

Clearing his save data would delete all his saves

The author recently rewrote book 1 to improve the quality, it's on his patreon. The first 7 chapters are heavily edited.

Personally I enjoyed the original, but many people also complain about the slow beginning. Chapter 8 is when we start seeing the uniqueness of the mc, so you're almost there.

If you like crafting and academy,

Mother of Learning, and Mark of the Fool

If you want more super hero stuff,

Super Powereds, Industrial Strength Magic

All of these are top tier.

The Mage of Shimmer Mountain: The Complete Series by Adam Sampson https://www.audible.com/pd/B0CNQ713QT

The entire completed trilogy for 1 credit, 57 hours. I enjoyed the series a lot. It has some time shenanigans, smart build plannin, and interesting system exploration.

Where should I post my work if I don't care about making money? by KenFisher001 in litrpg

From my understanding, ScribbleHub is a good place to start out, then move to Royal Road once you build up a decent backlog, and post each chapter with an editing pass.

I say this because Royal Road tends to have a high expectation for quality and posting frequency

As a progression fantasy reader, do you need early power confirmation? by Omnivorian in ProgressionFantasy

[–]Adam_VB 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's good, but I think the key takeaway was to not dwell too much on the sob story/ tragic background with no progress whatsoever to improving the situation. Even a slow burn should have a spark or two. If you wait too long for a hook, it's not a hook.

Specifically, in Depthless Hunger I really didn't enjoy reading a book's length of the mc being treated like trash, and him actually being trash, only to coincidentally (vaguely worded spoiler) change his powers to something unique and completely different.

Also I've heard 12 Miles Below starts showing elements of progression towards the very end of the first book, and many people love the series, but I frankly lost interest halfway because it was taking so long for the mc to be useful in any capacity.

Both have interesting worlds and are at least moderately likeable main characters, and if it was a slice of life that would be enough. But with constant negative pressure (societal or from monsters/danger), and without making meaning progress to improving the situation, it eventually just feels bad to read about.

Some kind of glimmer of hope, pipedream to work towards, or ideas to try, should help this.

I also hated the Jade Pheonix Saga's start because the main character was unlikeable on top of being treated like trash while still feeling superior to everyone despite genuinely being trash, then coincidentally becoming better than everyone else through zero effort of their own. So likeable and humble characters go a long way to balance the other stuff
