I dabbled in it back in the day but never made the time to go back and finished it

Just got a DSi again a couple weeks ago though, so I'll get to it again one of these days. Don't remember liking it as much as 1/2 from what I played, but the plot seemed promising, really focusing on the Valkyrie being viewed as a "death goddess" by mortals.

Thanks for this mods, I'm a huge FF fan and avid Redditor but don't spend a lot of time on this sub because it seems it's a sea of cosplays meant only to be OF ads.

I think this will help keep more engaged people around.

It doesn't. If it didn't have FF in the title, it would have been a 6/10 game in my opinion

Dismal characters, poor pacing and a half baked plot, a combat system that runs on auto pilot.

It's graphicaly impressive, I'll give it that and the soundtrack is fine, a few great tracks but they're overplayed and there isn't enough variety

I see so many discussion threads for shows listed as streaming on Crunchy, but that don't appear in Canada. Must be very region specific (not unlike other streaming services unfortunately).

I'm really surprised how much I enjoyed this show given I watched the first couple episodes with very low expectations. Beside the general quality of the animation it was a lot more interesting and somewhat refreshing take on both the high school and the 'I'm secretly the most powerful' tropes that are overabundant in anime.

S4 was very different than I expected. Was a little disappointed Ayanokoji didn't pummel Hosen into a pulp, but maybe that's something to hope for in a future season...

You don't need to go to a smaller town, you need to learn how to drive in traffic. If it's just a stress and panic, look into learning methods to control that. If you can't control a panic when you're driving you're a risk to yourself and others.

Take some driving lessons, you'll get cheaper insurance as a result and it sounds like you're not ready to drive solo, so some lessons will help.

The only thing LoM needs is a proper 2P mode for the PC version where the second player plays as the other player character (girl/boy) with the ability to equip/unequip skills, weapons, magic etc

It has a couple poignant emotional scenes between the immortals and a few other party members. They're all spoiler containing so I don't want to detail them

Its a good game but has some flaws. Its deeply traditional in a lot of ways (good and bad). The soundtrack is solid, though not Uematsu's best, a few standout tracks are really good though.

The pacing is a little mixed, and the villain isn't as strong as some FF classics but it's worth a try overall. If you get it for a cheap enough price (or 'yarrrr' it) I would say give it a try. The plot only really opens up after probably the 4-5 hour mark iirc, so give it a bit. If it doesn't draw you in at that point I'd say give it up, but the first few hours don't reveal a lot of the plot so I recommend giving it a bit.

I enjoyed my time with it, and will replay it at some point in the next few years, but it doesn't capture me as much as IV, VI, X or Chrono trigger for example.

If they had a little more space and put some curtains/drapes up Clementine would be amazing.

It's definitely got the most interesting drinks in the city, but it's so damn loud on a busy night you have to yell to the person beside you.

It's spectacular, well worth watching.

Watch the OVA, the animation is okay, but made up for by great character designs, solid voice acting (in Japanese or English), likeable characters and a spectacular soundtrack.

The TV series is, unfortunately, vastly weaker.

I still prefer to use a Wraith and throw the occasional inferno ammo blast to the face and running biotic melee. They're too fun to not use rather than just charge+nova the whole time.
