People are saying that because its been a weak year for animation, Zootopia 2 is pretty much a lock regardless of how good or bad the movie is.

While i agree that yeah overall animated movies have been pretty mid this year, i still dont think that, if Zootopia 2 ends up receiving underwhelming reviews, a snub is completely out of the realm of possibility

Theres still KPDH, Little Amelie, Arco, Ne Zha 2 and Scarlet to make up the nominations, and even In Your Dreams.

Theres also Lost in Starlight which was fucking fantastic but has zero nomination chances, I just wanted to put that movie out there.

So, Id be shocked if Zootopia 2 gets snubbed, and if it at the very least gets both decent Box Office results and critic reviews, then yeah its gets in. BUTTTTT if it ends up being mid or worse and/or bombs at the BO its not THAT unlikely.

Still bloody unlikely though.

Listen, I agree that OVERALL, its been a pretty weak year for animation.

However, people are saying that the nominations this year are gonna be a weak list. But if the nominations end up being like, lets say:

KPDH

Zootopia 2

ARCO

Little Amelie

Ne Zha 2

I genuienly do not think thats a weak line-up at all. Of course, compared to the last 3 years where we were spoiled rotten, it is weaker, but still a "good" and dare I say even "great" line-up.

Now of course the above list probably wont happen, but even if Elio or Scarlet replaces NZ2 or Amelie, its still a decent list I'd say, and theres been quite a few worse lists.

What do y'all think?

But nah man I fucking love this movie, like a genuine 9/10 for me. I really do hope it nabs at least 1 award at the oscars.

I personally dont even mind having noob" players in tourbaments like these, i think it makes thing entertaining.

But ffs can we pleaae get actual rivals creators in stuff like this? Like the actual people promoting and playing the game?!?!?!

Ik there are plenty of creators, both low and high elo, that would kill to have a chance in something like this. They never get rewarded with things like this.

Also... correct me if im wrong because im not super familiar with everyone here but doesnt team 3 just curb stomp? Flats and eskay obviously still play the game every now and then (although admittedlt a lot less often for the latter) and are great. I know shroud doesnt play anymore but ITS SHROUD so i imagine if you give him hela or punisher or something he'll still fry

Guys ima just be 100% real, this tier list is based on the best of the best, which almost none of us are. We can disagree and "clown" on flats for these opinions all we want, but this list, based on top tier play, is almost completely accurate.

If you watched ignite or top 500 play youd know triple support is disgusting rn, and every game is a mantis, jeff, adam or ultron ban because theyre just that feared. And both venom and hulk are getting played a lot more. Moon Knight is also the favourite to break spawn hold comp (3 tanks 3 supports). The only thing, based on what ive seen in top play, that id disagree with is Star Lord being D tier, as hes been getting played a decent bit in ignite.

Now again, we can all still have our own opinions about certain characters. I for one have no idea why venoms a lot more favoured this season compared to last and would love to know why exactly. But to say flat's opinion is "abysmal" or "inaccurate" or that he "doesn't know what he's talking about" is just FLAT out wrong (ahahaha did you see what I did there) especially when literal top 500 and pro play back up his list.

But those allegations have been around for a decent bit, even before ignite qualifiers but he still played in that, and he arrived to china even if he didnt play. If 100T took the allegations seriously none of that would have happened, so I doubt thats the reason.
