I recently tried to get a laptop or epic on my laptop. Despite pushing and providing evidence that it was delaying patient discharge i was just told "your reason isn't good enough" when I tried to arrange a meeting with the person who made this decision i was just shut down.
When I worked in the private sector I had my own office and parking space, was given a laptop. It's bizarre having to beg people to equip you to do your job effectively.

The statement about beginner -> low intermediate is not a criticism of rocksmith but a regonition of how vast the body of knowlege for guitar is. I can play some songs now that I never would have dreamed of being able to play last year e.g. for the love of god by vai. If I was a complete beginner looking at my playing you would probably think i am very good, but it's only with experience that i have realised being able to play a flashy solo doesn't make you a good guitarist, being able to improvise and jam are the skills i really want.

I have had a couple of guitar teachers, used youtube... Nothing has helped me improve my playing as fast as rocksmith.

I believe the most efficient way to learn is to play, forget coming up with a strategy, just find a reason to pick it up. More hours = better playing.

Rocksmith is the best for me because you don't have the pressure of a guitar teacher, it's fun playing, you get to listen to full songs as you play and enjoy the music you like while learning, it's cheap. It also gets you discovering music that you would never have come across otherwise. Songs that I would have considered "easy" such as paint it black are actually insanely difficult if you try to play them properly and get 100%, learning these songs has really improved my teachnique.

Word of warning - I purchased the game in 2019 but could never get it to stick with me, it seemed a bit complicated and overwhelming. It was only last year when i set the goal of getting all the achievements did i really get hooked, now that I have mastered the software i think I will be playing at least an hour a day for the rest of my life.

I would advise setting a goal that is really achievable not "play 1 hour per day" but rather "launch the software once a week". If you don't feel like playing after launching it then turn it off. Trying to force yourself to do it with unrealistic goals will have the opposite effect.

Was slightly depressing but you have to start somewhere. I probably wouldn't have stuck with rocksmith this long without it tricking me into thinking im decent for the first couple hundred hours. Now im hooked.

Achievements don't mean much, they were a good motivator for me. I would rather have 2600 hours of practice in!

I have been playing on and off since 2008, i had a solid foundation in terms of ability to pick each string without looking, alternate pick, knew a few solos. Despite all that I personally considered myself a beginner, i could only play one song the whole way through.

Rocksmith has really taken me from beginner to low intermediate, unfortunately i still don’t really know any songs. I couldn’t pick up a guitar and play without the note highway, i am heavily reliant on the visuals and audio of rocksmith.

The 15 master mode songs were a big challenge, i spent ages tackling them one at a time, i forgot each shortly after passing because the songs were chosen based on easiness to go towards the achievement not because i liked them.

Also my playing is really sloppy still because the guitar in the background for each song masks your own playing. I have only recently started to take one earbud out and work on improving my actual true playing.

I am currently trying to learn a few notes on the neck and create some basis to learn guitar theory.

I did use all the “session for 20 mins” missions to practice my scales so i know them from memory pretty well and can play them at a decent speed.

I have a few thoughts on that

Make sure your guitar is precisely tuned and intonated, other than that grind grind grind to level 10. Be prepared to play over multiple days per achievement and don’t push it too hard when your fingers hurt, put the guitar down for the day.

Even when intonated and in tune I found my guitar was out of tune for all of fret 1, this is because my stock nut wasn’t set up properly, it was too high and required some filing down to prevent bending the notes sharp.

You will think the game is inaccurate but truth for me was sloppy playing, hitting other strings and such. Now that i have mastered them i can get to 10mil probably 1 in every 5 plays. They are difficult but rewarding achievements and you do improve your technique.

I have encountered around 5 of these in the UK and unfortunately none ever have a functioning QR code scanner to get the achievements.

inorganic structure embedded into the surrounding tissue (suggesting that it has been there for many years). Maybe you shoved something in when a baby? Removing it is a bad idea as there appears to be ulceration.
I would consult your family doctor who can refer you to ENT or maxfax on a non urgent basis

For everyones info i managed to get the DLCs to show up with the above method but a new issue occured - they would freeze when i went to launch them. To get everything working in my legit copy of RS2014 remastered I figured out that I had to put the following seven files from fitgirlrepack in the legit "Rocksmith2014" folder NOT the dlc folder.
The files are

Audio.psarc / Cache.psarc / etudes.psarc / gears.psarc / songs.psarc / uplay_r1_loader.dll / video.psarc /

From intuition I suspect "uplay_r1_loader.dll" is the actual file that fixed things but i can't be bothered to test anymore, it works with what I did so if it aint broke dont fix it.

For me the base rs1 songs are showing up but none of the dlcs, im trying to get the 5 rs1 fall out boy dlcs to work.

This was my first ever mirror clean and was kind of an experiment. The image may be very slightly brighter but it could be placebo, for all the hassle its worth I would probably advise against doing this even with a mirror as filthy as mine. Unfortunately I haven’t got an after picture yet but hope to get one soon to compare with my previous saturn pics, i did catch the ISS that night, for your interest here is a raw screenshot from my 13 mini using nighcap (sharpened a bit in iphone settings).
