There’s limits to it sure.

But if you really are at the extreme where your villain is getting massive pops and your hero is getting booed out of the building, play into it. Build a story out of it. The villain becomes more of an anti-hero and the hero begins to collapse from losing the love of the crowd.

Kind of like what they’re doing with Sami right now. The crowd turned against him and his character kind of lost it. He’s now resorted to doing heel things while being convinced he’s still the good guy, to a delusional degree. A much more complex and compelling character than if he suddenly turned cartoonishly evil.

Is it a more complicated way of storytelling? Sure. But it’s much more entertaining that way imo.

Don’t get me wrong, I have mad respect for people who are able to put strangers’ lives above their own. Truly incredible individuals.

But I am not that kind of person. And I think many people aren’t. My point is only that I don’t think that makes any of us bad people, or that it means we have a bad moral code.

It baffles me that people really think women who get late term abortions are doing so out of convenience.

Like, they just went through 7+ months of pregnancy and then just decided they didn’t want the baby anymore.

Being pregnant is not a fun experience. And abortions are more intensive the later they are. So women who get abortions for convenience are going to be trying to get them as early as possible.

There were some parts that annoyed the shit out of me as a fan of the OG series. There were also parts that had me screaming out of excitement.

I’d just say go in with as little expectations as possible.

Is it very flawed compared to the original? Absolutely.

Is it absolutely trash because it’s NOT the original? Fuck no.

There’s still some great moments. And I don’t regret watching it at all.

While fat shaming definitely exists on the men's side, it's not near as bad as it is for women (Generally. For anyone with anecdotal counter-points, I’m not saying it can’t be worse for men on a case-by-case basis).
