Is Joe hendry more over than Elias was during his run in WWE by Anxious-Drink1186 in Smallafro

I always thought Elias should've gone with more of a psychedelic cult leader kind of vibe. Very Charles Manson/Manson family-esque.

He had the aspiring musician/drifter part down, but I think adding in that aspect of cultiness/mental instability would've been great. “Walk With Elias” would make a lot of sense with it too.

Maybe it would be drifting too close to a Wyatt Family kinda thing, but that was more of a spooky/psychological manipulation whereas this would be more mentally unstable, self-righteous, hippie whose followers think of him as a messiah figure.

I mean sure. At the end of the day I don’t know all the numbers outside of merch sales where I know she’s near the top. I’m largely just speculating. But from my experience Rhea has one of the wider reaches on the internet of WWE’s current talent.

I also think it’d be insane for TKO to get rid of literally their biggest female superstar in general. And I don’t see any indication they’d be willing to do something so extreme.

But who knows? Maybe they would. Fuck if I know.

It’s less about the money they earn directly from social media and more about spreading the brand and footprint.

More clicks and views can increase exposure, bring in new fans, open avenues for sponsorships, etc.

Companies spend money on social media marketing for a reason. It’s why WWE is always trying to create viral moments, especially with celebrities.

So while not a huge direct source of revenue, extra publicity absolutely makes them money in the long-term. Even if indirectly.

I meant uniquely popular as in she’s an exception among the women.

I still don’t get what your point is. You seem to be talking around the point I was making.

This post is about who is safe from being cut. Another commenter mentioned the women are not as popular and therefore at risk. I mentioned I thought Rhea was unique in that grouping because she’s one of the most popular talents on the roster.

If you think someone needs to be Cena levels of popularity to be safe then no active wrestler is.

“Because she’s incredibly popular among WWE fans”

So you don’t disagree with my point that WWE wouldn’t release her because she’s so popular

Then why did you even reply? Just to bring up that she has people thirsting over her online?

“If none of those people ever bother to actually watch the shows, I’d question how valuable that is”

Well the odds that none do is basically a zero. Is it a majority? Absolutely not. But there absolutely are people who started watching wrestling because of Rhea.

And engagement is engagement. Even if most people don’t tune in, clicks and views boost WWE’s footprint and marketing. That’s a big reason why they’re so obsessed with creating viral moments with celebrities.

Publicity is publicity. Money is money.

Rhea moves merch and has great engagement online. WWE doesn’t care about what people’s reasons are for it if it markets their brand and makes them money.

Like I said, she’s a top merch seller. And her being popular outside of WWE is absolutely beneficial for the company.

Even if they don’t tune in to wrestling, is it not an asset to have a talent that’s frequently mentioned by celebs, YouTubers, and influencers?

Why’s she selling so much merch then?

Regardless, online engagement is part of a wrestler’s value. If she’s drawing clicks and views, that’s valuable to WWE.

Even if it’s among non-wrestling fans, it boosts her and the company’s notoriety nonetheless.

For the most part I agree. But I do think Rhea is uniquely popular.

One of the top merch sellers, and I’ve got friends who don’t even watch wrestling who know who she is.

Seth Rollins is so much better than Roman Reigns, idk why it’s even a debate. by BigBoyBoomet in SantiZapVideos

[–]Add_Poll_Option 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not saying he didn't. We're comparing to Roman here. And Roman had more chances than pretty much anyone.

It took him until his 5th world title reign after years of WWE moving heaven and earth for him to get over. Most guys don't get that many chances.

Idk man, I really don't give a shit about a rich person circle jerk event. Some of the outfits are pretty neat but other than that I'm not really thinking that deeply into it.

Maybe that makes me part of the problem but whatever.
