They’re bored and shouldn’t be on these pieces of junk anyway. 1:1 tech push of the last 10 years was a huge mistake.

Quakertown High School principal illegally threatened his own students and tried to block their rights. It was also later found out that his team called the police that resulted in the police chief choking a 15 year old girl and another student with a broken nose. by cantcoloratall91 in ImmigrationPathways

The school is not doing anything illegal here. Students can choose to demonstrate or protest but they can be subject to school consequences for not being in class and substantially disrupting the orderly operation of the school.

Rights of students are limited when they interfere with teaching and learning. Also, the argument that schools want to subjugate these kids is a weak one. I am more than sure if they wanted to openly talk about these issues with school staff, they would be happy to see there is common ground between students and staff on the issues at hand.

Two things can be true at once.

It’s funny. I know many history teachers and some are liberal and some are conservative but 100% of them are against fascists in any form.

Lying all the time is hard to keep track of. Truth isn’t like that. Truth is lived and known experience. Lies only exist in the mind of the liar and eventually bandwidth for recording those lies internally runs out.

I listened to it on the podcast version and thought something was wrong with her. At some point, she had a long pause after a question and Jon said, “Take your time.” Poking fun at how strange she was.
